No SS has arrives I'm afraid so whomever sent mine may want to check whatever tracking they used (if any?).

Re: The Star Wars thread

Personally I'm pretty tired of SW these days as it's never as good as the originals as there's nothing new and they've not evolved the worlds or the 'religions' enough for me. Now if they did movies with aliens as the main cast and on alien worlds that's be more interesting bit as John Carter and Va...

Re: Gaming elements that annoy you.

Where to start lol Main ones that spring to mind are: 1) Coop games where Player 2 is never part of the discussions/cutscenes 2) Sections where you chase/race an opponent who mysteriously moved/drives faster than possible when you get near to beating/catching them ahead of the scripted point. 3) Sim...

Re: PS Plus and Xbox gold

If not for the need to have PS+ to play online, I wouldn't bother anymore as the games they give away have been lousy these last 12 months or so. I have a 360 but never liked Xbox Gold and can't find a Sale section so never bother with it. The sales are usually hidden within the Games With Gold box...

Re: Evil Within 2

I disliked the first one due to the linear maps and general dislike of survival horrors, which is a shame as it looks beautifully weird.

Re: Books vs ebooks

For me it depends what it is in all honesty. I collect Gamebooks so always buy anything like Fighting Fantasy that I see. Also, anything by certain authors such as H P Lovecraft, Robert Bloch and assorted others I'll always purchase but otherwise I only really purchase Audiobooks now as I travel 4 h...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

The Babysitter: a thoroughly enjoyable comedy gorefest from MCG. Very surprised by how good it actually was! Bladerunner 2049: it was good but it just felt a little flat to me. It think it was the small cast of characters that I was disappointed with but as an examination into whether AI's can grow ...

Re: Today

Today we're at Lifton farm to see Magic Martin, pick pumpkins and have lunch. My daughter just won the fancy dress competition so has won some little things to keep her quiet at the dinner table which is a godsend.
Tonight, fireworks in the village and no doubt food poisoning from the hotdog man :)
