Why wouldn't the planes alone be enough to suit their needs? There would be less of an insurance payout , on a policy signed 6 weeks prior to the attack. The destruction of the building also removes the need for the excess of 1 billion dollars worth of asbestos removal the owner was required to do ...

I tell you what I make a damn good cup of tea. Owing to differences in the initial impacts, the collapses of the two towers were found to differ in some respects, but in both cases, the same sequence of events applies. After the impacts had severed exterior columns and damaged core columns, the load...

What I want to know is: what do you want from the RG forum? You do have a point there so I'll finish up. :D You're always going to get people spouting off about sh!t they know nothing about on internet forums. People see something they disagree with, and without fully understanding what has led the...

it only took one of these tiles to be damaged by a fairly small piece of debris for it to have catastrophic consequences Of course, if the WTC buildings were ploughing through the air at the speed of sound that might be relevant here. Much more likley to mean 'let's blow up my billion dollar skyscr...

I think all the consipracy wackos should be locked in a building and a couple of emtpy planes dropped on top of them. They will soon realise how easily a building collapses. plus I won't have to listen to their crap any more. Yeah just to back up here a second. Rounding up people who disagree with ...

Indeed I am.
I can't say I can be bothered to look at any of the other links you posted.
Good to see you've actually done your research before you open your proverbial mouth.

Happy weekend everyone 8)

Another mis-quoted piece of circumstantial evidence that just isn't true. CNN made a mistaken report that the building had collapsed or was near collapsing. The BBC and several other news channels picked this up and ran with it - even though the still-intact WTC7 can be clearly seen behind the repo...

(Home now...) I dont want to bring up the whole religious debate again but here is someone who believes a lot of BS on the net about 911 being a conspiracy, yet he also goes to church and seems to believe theres a God who created the world and Jesus etc. It seems you do believe everything you're tol...

When engineers need to carry out a controlled explosion on buildings a tenth of that size they spend weeks prepping the building, stripping out concrete, putting explosives inside the structure where the concrete has been stripped out etc etc. the WTC was a home or business for thousands of people....

Do you not accept that the impact from the planes and the resulting explosion could have damaged this insulation? That's right, I do not accept that. Fire retardant is sprayed directly onto the structural steel. I feel I should point out that the wikipedia article R.Prime linked to has a very clear...

People think the moon landings were fake, people think the world is flat.
Some people believe that God made the world in 7 days, but that has nothing to do with the laws of physics. Stick to the topic please.

R.Prime - This is all very laudable, but you can't create a debate then sit there bashing all comers who disagree. That isn't the nature of debate. You remind me of the people who say that, yes, it's sad that Princess Diana died, but ISN'T IT WEIRD, ALL OF THE THINGS THAT DON'T ADD UP? Hang on a mi...

type of steel used and how well it was insulated against fire.
It was insulated against fire. With asbestos, a fire retardant.

Coincidentally, or not, there was a billion dollars worth of asbestos removal that was required to be done on the buildings.

When you studied physics... did you end up passing?
Actually I received a national scholarship.
I will go and scan it for you if you like.

Sure the buildings would come down, just not like that. They would have toppled sideways.
