Re: Your fave Mortal Kombat

MK3 is the one I have the best memories of, though the sampled speech was very iffy, me and my mate were convinced that people trapped in Cyrax's electric net were saying 'oh no, not the shed!'

Re: RIP <Insert celebrity>

Adam "Best Batman" West Was really gutted when I saw this on saturday, my lad noticed so I had to explain who he was, and mentioned I had the whole of the original series on DVD. His response was 'so we can enjoy seeing him be Batman all the time'. Which is a great way to look at it, it's sad these...

Re: Is Megadrive Shadow Dancer the best Shinobi game

It's a great game, but for simple nostalgia it had to be the original Shinobi. So many intellectual property infringements...

Incidentally anyone who picks Arcade Shadow Dancer is clearly a complete masochist.

Re: Fighting Fantasy

I think I'll treat myself to the mobile version of Down Among the Deadmen. I think I preferrred the old VR series as I use to get bored of faffing around with dice. I hope they do the others in the series. Quite fancy Sorcery! too but it's £17 for the lot and I'm too cheap to spend proper money on ...

They're all still less fun to play than Vice City. Never got on with San Andreas.

Re: Any Nintendo DS Collectors Here?

Absolutely love it, pretty much still play on my DS Lite every day due to the fact that it's got so many games that you can just pick up and play. Not sure how many games I have now, quite possibly over 100. That includes the like of Ace Attorney series, a few Mario games, the Castlevania trilogy a...

Re: If You Could Choose One System

TBF I do like the Amiga as Stated before. I think the ideal setup was megadrive/Snes + Amiga at the time. I think its all down to personal preference and the type of games you prefer is going to influence the choice you make. Believe it or not I do understand that people prefer different machines t...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Finally had a go of the Arms Test Demo and after an hour of matches, I'm really looking forward to the full release even more. Ton of fun to play. Yeah there are some similarities to Wii Boxing, but they'd added a level of strategy this time with throws, dashing, jumping, super moves and of course,...

Re: If You Could Choose One System

That person appreciates the paradoxical nature of a machine that can produce the definitive 8 bit version of Chase HQ, yet also poop out the worst version of Outrun ever produced. Yeah, but it's worth remembering that only the good games are truly limited by the hardware; the bad games more tend to...

WWE ExtreMEH rules Mostly the 5 way and curserweight matches where good On the other hand the final of NJPW BOTSJ is well wroth fully watching To be fair, Hardy's vs Cesaro/Sheamus wasn't bad. Alexa vs. Bayley was utter cack though. At least that's hopefully the end of that god-awful feud, that was...

Re: MegaMan legacy collection 2

I'll be buying this for my Godson, he's been obsessed with Mega Man ever since he played the original legacy collection on my 3DS. He can speed run through all the games no problem. He's 11. I can't beat Heat Man.
