Re: Gamecube - your favourite title and collecting

Does anyone know where I can get a good gamecube memory card for cheap or point me to an eBay page? I borrowed my memory card from a friend, and he recently asked for it back, so now I'm stuck with the tiny one that came with Animal Crossing, and I need a bigger one to play Harvest Moon! Thanks ever...

Re: Pokémon - favourites

Nice! I haven't actually played White or Black yet - despite my girlfriend saying I could play White using her cart and DS. Didn't get on with 4th gen so I'm not sure what to expect. Black and white is definitely better than 4th gen, in my opinion. It is still lacking the things that made the first...

Re: Sega Saturn Launch Titles

I'm not sure the launch titles really showed off what the Saturn could do in comparison to the PS1! Indeed, which was probably one reason why the Saturn never gained the traction it needed. We all know Virtua Fighter knocks Toshinden into a cocked hat, but if all you saw were the two running side-b...

Re: Next gen, who would you most like to see fail?

Microsoft. Their console has sucked the life out of video games and replaced it with a heap of unoriginal, generic games, most being first person shooters. Sure, Halo was awesome, but everything else just seems like a clone. At least the PS3 and Wii have a few games that actually take me back to th...

Re: Ebay idiots

I had this one guy who I bought a game from once. I paid for the game as soon as I clicked the buy now button and sent an email in regards to how he was going to package it (as it was a brittle case). No reply and I waited for it to be marked as dispatched, I even sent emails asking if he was going ...

Space Channel 5! Not because it is a bad game, just because I absolutely suck at it!

Re: Pokémon - favourites

I find Pokémon gets ignored among the retro crowds for some reason, I thinks its because there aren't many 8 year olds in the retro community . . . The battle system of Pokémon, especially so in the later games, is definitely rather complicated and requires a lot of strategy and maths to figure out...

Re: Pokémon - favourites

I find Pokémon gets ignored among the retro crowds for some reason, when actually it is probably one of the most remembered from back in the nineties. I was kind of surprised when Pokémon Emerald was pushed into the 'honorable mentions' section of the GBA article that was in issue 94... But my favou...

It didn't have high trees like in that forest, but I may play this game, as it looks pretty awesome!
