Re: Pokémon - favourites

Whilst I am a little older and that wouldn't have been a problem, driving MYSELF miles is stupid. I don't believe in games I can't complete if I don't get somewhere else, it's stupid! However that's no longer an issue, as I am now only missing 3 event pokemon, and I should get those at some point. ...

I really wish I hadn't. :(
I think they may be going up in price!

I can get a blue camo one for £25 and I'm planning on picking it up tomorrow
Around that price, although postage pushed it up a little.

Re: Neo Geo Pocket Color Advice

So I just bought myself a Neo Geo Pocket Color for a decent price, it is the camouflage blue one. I will soon be a happy NGPC owner! I also bought some of the cheaper games too, Metal Slug, Pocket Tennis, Dark Arms Beast Busters (this one looked really interesting) and Cardfighters Clash (this one I...

Someone just posted an animated promo to the new Pokémon game up on YouTube. It was pretty awesome if I say so myself!

Re: Neo Geo Pocket Color Advice

Wish the screens from systems back then were easier to see, they annoy me! Great stick though. Having poor eyesight doesnt help. :( Would love a backlight NGPC..... Cant really play it quietly with the clicky stick especially the fighters! I've seen a dude on YouTube called RetroGameTech who put a ...

Re: Pokémon - favourites

Personally I preferred it when you couldn't get event Pokémon via Wi-Fi connection, as it made them so much more rarer, which is what made them so desirable. Nowadays you can get yourself a Mew, a Celebi or a Deoxys, or even all three in the space of a few hours if you use the Serebii Wi-Fi chat wel...

Re: Neo Geo Pocket Color Advice

Nice one! I have been looking up all the games you guys have mentioned and they all look really awesome... this console had some really great games! It is definitely a shame that it didn't take off. I am currently trying to get one from eBay... I realise that some of the games were re-released in bl...

Re: Neo Geo Pocket Color Advice

Boxed or unboxed? The prices of boxed consoles seems to be steadily rising, £50ish seems to be the thing on ebay. Games to buy: Match of the Millenium - brilliant fighter. King of Fighters 2 Metal Slug First & Second Missions Struggling to remember what else I've put time in  Can't even look a...

Neo Geo Pocket Color Advice

Does anyone know the average price I should pay for one in good condition?
Also, what games would you recommend? I am up for playing anything you suggest!

Thanks everyone

Re: Pokémon - favourites

It's SO tragic that they canned trading between gen 2 and gen 3 (extra ridiculous when you consider the hardware would play both). Unless I'm mistaken it's the only borken link in the chain and if they'd included it, we would have been able to carry our original Pokemon all the way to the latest ve...
