Re: Anyone work at Game/Gamestation/HMV/CeX?

I know a guy who works in a chain similar to CeX, one of those game stores that does trade-ins. He told me that once some guy walks in and says he needs some money for college or something, and says that that he would be willing to trade in two rare Pokémon Game Boy's... I am not sure how much they ...

Re: Weird games....

The first thing that came to my head when I saw this topic was Killer 7... but it had already been said many times already. Seems I wasn't the only one who thought killer7 was absolutely insane while at the same time genius! Mischief Makers on the N64 is weird in the sense that it is insane. F...

Re: When does the PS2 become "retro"?

Re: E3 2012

I thought the Wii U looks pretty awesome. I went in thinking it would just be a dumb gimmick like the DS touch screen or the Wii motion sensor where they just release a tonne of games that utilise it just because it can, rather than because it needs to, but I was actually blown away. Zombi U just lo...

Re: Why do people play bad games?

I often find that playing bad games can bring a smile to your face. For example, the Zelda CD-i games crack me and my friends up so much due to the frankly awful cut scenes, although the gameplay is incredibly frustrating.

I second this question. Also, does the Dreamcast to NGPC link cable work with PAL Dreamcast games?

Re: From the forum issue 103

Montezuma's Revenge! I always loved that short jingle it played when you grabbed an item. The puzzles were awesome and had you hopping around all over the place. it was even pretty tense in places. I also enjoyed the sequel on the PC, they adapted the puzzles of Montezuma's Revenge into 3D pretty we...

Why do they need HD ports? They were pretty decent graphics in the first place.

Re: Pokémon - favourites

To be honest, I've never found Pokemon to be a particularly deep game in terms of combat and stats etc. I mean it can be, but I've found that brute force and a little attention to type advantage is all it takes to beat everyone and everything in the game.
