Re: What are you currently playing?

I am currently playing Alundra for PlayStation... it is seriously one of the hardest games I have played. I remember watching my grandad playing it around the time it was released when I was younger and it was amazing how much patience he had. He completed it on his own without a guide or anything. ...

Re: Which retro system limitations irk you?

Shenmue 2 and Jet Set Radio are kind of ruined by slowdown... although it is tolerable, but annoying when it happens.

From The Archives - Human Entertainment

Hey Retro Gamer Your regular feature 'from the archives' is always a great place to find out some pretty interesting details about defunct game companies. I was wondering if you could perhaps do a feature on a company called Human Entertainment? They developed and published some pretty obscure but b...

Re: From the forum issue 105

Mirror's Edge, hands down. I've never played a game like it. It is one of the few games where I actually have to stop playing it for a second to take in the environments.

Re: Rip-off retro game prices?

The stock is not even arranged nicely. Some stock is infront of other stock so you can't see what's behind. Totally agree with this... the games were kept together, I would see for example a bunch of Mega Drive games clustered together, then you'd see a load more in another cabinet, would've been m...

Re: What are you currently playing?

I've been playing Clock Tower 3 for PS2 recently. It has this rather noticeable campness to it, yet it constantly makes me feel uneasy. Even more so than games like Silent Hill, although it isn't as terrifying as the original Clock Tower on the Super Famicom. Probably because the graphics seem colou...

Re: Rip-off retro game prices?

Standard business practice for these types of shops. I don't know really... the shop near me are really nice about their prices. I've picked up some real bargains there, I think I've only considered buying a particular item on eBay as an alternative once. Only problem is that their trade in prices ...

Rip-off retro game prices?

I went to the retro shop in Manchester's Affleck's Palace yesterday, it was wall to wall with stuff I wanted, but I found the prices were absolutely ridiculous... I had a brief look around and then left. Probably the best reason for going there is to compare prices so you can congratulate yourself o...

Re: What do you collect?

I am not really aiming to get an entire collection of games for any system, as that would be expensive and take up a lot of space. I really just collect the games I really like or think I might like for a particular system. In a perfect world I'd probably like to have a complete Dreamcast collection...

As long as it has some good games on it its a winner
I agree with this... I just love the games, I am not really that fussed about whether or not it is considered retro.

http://www.retrogame-shop.com/shop/images/panasonicqcompletejap.JPG This ugly looking thing. It makes the sleek design of the GameCube look bad. http://www.awesomehq.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/sega32x.jpg Also, the model 1 version of the 32x / CD combo looks downright ugly. http://justclaws.ata...
