Re: What are you currently playing?

Just started the Skyrim Dragonborn DLC feels good to be exploring somewhere new and not knowing where I am going, Skyrim gets a bit boring when you know it like the back of your hand. Also started playing Kirby Mouse Attack which I'm really enjoying, it has been a while since I played a Kirby game, ...

Re: 'random niceness' thread

Cheers Grizzly for the Wii Motion Plus arrived Friday I think but didn't get the chance to post. I still have ISS 64 Cart only, and that GBA Adapter thing available. Also cleared out a few more games so also Black and Viewtiful Joe are available both on PS2. If anyone wants any pics let me know. Go...

Re: Steam Summer Sale

I'm not too impressed with the sale so far, mainly because everything I want I've got in previous sales and that kind of thing. I'm slightly tempted by the RPG maker thing on sale, might be a bit fun to play around with although I can see it being another one of those things that's a good idea in my...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Picked this both up from GAME in the sale.

House of the Dead 2 + 3 on Wii £4
Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles £4

Quite happy to get those two as I've been after them for a while.

Re: Questions about upgrading a PC

I still would personally go the the CPU upgrade along with the GPU upgrade, at 1.8 you are going to struggle with gaming. What you need to remember is most games are not able to take advantage of multiple cores so the fact it is quad core won't be helping too much. You won't need an ultra high spec ...

Re: Sections for Retro Gamer

Honestly for me I'd like to see a good combination but with an increase with stuff about PS2 and that for me that is old enough to qualify. I personally don't have much of an interest in 8 bit stuff and whilst I enjoy reading about it I can't say I'd personally miss it, it was a little before my tim...

Re: New Retro Gamer Collection Volume 7 bookazine

Picked it up earlier this week, oddly enough WH Smiths only had the only copy at the start of the week and no normal Retro Gamer magazines at all (normally it is the other way around) but it was damaged and I decided against it luckily it seems they must have got a delivery of them in as there were ...

Re: Questions about upgrading a PC

Honestly that CPU is pretty slow and old for modern games you'd be better off going for a big upgrade than trying to cobble something together out of cheaper components. I'd also avoid those £40 card that say 1 or 2gb on they aren't made for gaming so even though they say they are 1gb they are prett...

Re: Rogue Legacy - Get playing it

Looks fantastic, I've been toying with buying it but I'm just not sure spent a bit on games already and have other games I really should be playing instead
