Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Transformers : Last Knight - despite a few fun little nerd moments and some cheapening of well respected actors , it was a film. Not Dark of the moon bad , just not....

Gotham S4 Ep3 - still quite enjoying it apart from the forced gruff voices are a little annoying.
Spiderman Homecoming - not awful - not great. Actually find the star a bit irritating.
Guardians of the Galaxy V2 - 3rd time and still love it.

Re: Discuss: Spectrum vs Amstrad Gaming

I think rather than prodding this argument , it may be easier to prove to yourself via a Google search that the Spectrum scene is very much alive , with games still being released. Perhaps the same could be said of the Amstrad scene and I sincerely hope it is. Great things can be achieved by enthusi...

Re: Movies that never got games

Never knew that but then i don't really look at FPS games - I would see it as a possible FPS/Rebelstar style combination and maybe even a bit of Combat School/Decthlon style training.

Re: From The Forum issue 180 - Favourite Bitmap Brothers Game

Speedball 2 - purely for the great memories of playing it at a friends house until the early hours (and still to this day every now and then). The Chaos Engine and Xenon come in a joint 2nd place ,

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

New Beauty & The Beast - not the original but if you treat as a standalone it is at very least watchable. Gotham series 3 - not too bad but dwindling a little now. Assuming the trailers i'm seeing are for season 4 on TV - so i might stick it out. Walking Dead s8 pt 2 - beginning to feel like watchin...

Re: Movies that never got games

Roadhouse! Good shout! That could make an awesome scrolling beat 'em up 8) Think you could have Peter Griffin pop out of the side after a super combo - just like the Mortal Kombat programmers did. That gave me an idea for an 80's action hero scrolling beat em up based on all the big characters from...

Re: Movies that never got games

I've been waiting for a day off to mull this one over more because I have often thought that some films really do lend themselves to games quite well , yet some seem to fall by the wayside. Perhaps for the best given the technology at the time - however some would look good these days. Commando - ag...
