Re: The first games you completed.

Tough one to recall.

Without using pokes and cheats it’s probably Robocop on the CPC.

Re: Nintendo shut down Emuparadise.

Super Mario Run didn't really do that well for them. Sure, there were hundreds of millions of downloads in a short space of time, but relatively few of those bought the game because it was priced rather high for mobiles. Without ongoing monetization the income dried up fairly quickly too. They've d...

Re: Most wanted unreleased games?

Would liked to have played the version of resident evil 4 that was canned featuring Leon fighting the mini dolls and ghost from the painting.

Re: From The Forum issue 180 - Favourite Bitmap Brothers Game

Speedball 2 for me. It was just so addictive to play even in one player with the league to play through. The magic of this game can never be recreated again in a modern version.

Anyone order the After Burner soundtrack from Data Discs?
Yeah I got one. Great sounding package for a soundtrack that’s not huge.

Re: Save our forum!

it's hardly surprising this forum is in decline with people constantly being jerks for the sake of being jerks on here. it probably stops a lot of people hanging around or even registering as they assume they won't get a decent discussion when people respond like 5 year olds. I can't even remember ...

Re: Save our forum!

It's offline more often than online at the moment, no wonder no one is posting :( Yeah I have given up over the last few days trying to get on. I would be lucky to read one page then the usual ominous message rears its ugly head. The same thing happened months ago and I seem to recall there was no ...

Re: blu ray lens cleaner needed?

Pretty much the same thing to be fair. They generally don't do squat though as they are a nice low priced, high margin item shops sell without fear of return by the customer. If it's just DVD r I would not panic just let as the tolerance for scratches on them is pretty low. I have seen original disc...

Re: TV Troubles

I would say it's worth fixing. If it was a panel replacement needed then that certainly would not of been worth doing.

Re: TV Troubles

I would check to see if you have a local to repair guy first. That fault would generally be less than £100 to fix if spare parts are available. Just bare in mind if spares ain't available then you will still pay a charge for the engineers time. How old is the TV if you never had it from new? If it w...

Re: TV Troubles

If you have your tv on with something playing. Take your phone and shine it's camera/torch light on the screen. You should be able to just about see an image. If you do you know the panel is fine and it's just the LED array which outputs the light that has gone. That should be fairly cheap to fix wi...

Re: do you buy phsical music

Still buy cd's and vinyl when it comes to music. I get a fair bit of obscure stuff that's not always online with streaming services.

I do use YouTube etc to find out what certain artists are like then purchase the physical media.
