Really? Any idea how to access the hidden menu? Nothing on Google that I found.
Sorry for the delay as I couldn’t find my DC-X straightaway.

I have put up a photo of the instructions.

Re: Which Dreamcast?

RGB it is It maybe the TV doesn’t like the signal the DC is outputting. My main tv is a Panasonic plasma and it hates it with a RGB scart. Picture is all over or doesn’t come on among other things. Put it on our tiny LG led and it’s fine. The DC-X disc does have a hidden menu where you can force a ...

Re: top 3 ds games

1. Mario kart. Played insane amounts of multiplayer with this game. 2. Castlevania portrait of ruin. It was quite a while since last playing a Castlevania game. Once I picked it up I could not put it down until I had done everything. 3. Chrono trigger. I know it never originally came out on the DS. ...

Re: Which Dreamcast?

It's dead easy to play imports on too - either burn your own or use a boot disc if you want to play official releases. You can make a boot disc yourself from online resources or buy a disc called DC-X which I find to be a wee bit more dependable. Davy, I bought one of the DC-X CD's off ebay and it ...

Re: Renting videotapes

Depending on your viewing distance you would really need a 55”+ screen. Also you have to take compression into account. Dvd and 1080p quality streams are about the same as their disc based equivalent. 4K is a different beast altogether. The compression is high so even though it looks great it’s actu...

Re: Which Dreamcast?

Guys I have another techy question about the Dreamcast. I have a CRT TV running @ 100Mhz and the light guns wont work on it. I am guessing they dont work on anything over 60Mhz. Could anyone confirm that? Yep you are correct. They don’t work on 100hz TVs due to refreshing too quick if my memory ser...

Re: Sony announces Playstation 1 Classic

I would like it if they surprised us and stuck a couple of never before released games on it. Like 'Thrill kill'? Yeah why not. The only things missing were the endings. Question is will they put much adult rated stuff on it. Even if most adult rated games from the day are soft as censored compared...

Nintendo did with star fox 2. And I’m sure Sony must have one or two games in the vaults that were finished but never released for what ever reason.

Certainly would drum up even more interest in the unit.

Re: What System would you like to a 'Classic' console for?

A mini Sega Saturn with Shinobi X, Burning Rangers, Deep Fear and Shining Force would be a day 1 purchase. I would say Elevator Action but it’s a jap only game. Knowing Sega it would be Sega Rally, Virtual Fighter and the same Megadrive games that appear on every other collection A 3d0 mini would b...

Very interesting. With wild arms, final fantasy 7, tekken 3 and ridge racer being there. Let’s hope the quality of the rest of the line up is as high.

Still the best looking Sony console.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Regardless of if you think it’s right to be charging full price or not. You have got to remember you cannot buy Nintendo’s games for any other format unlike day GTA. Their first party games will always be ever green in price as they always sell. It’s what makes the company money to keep them around....

Re: Streets of Rage 4 officially announced!!!

Really glad that Streets of Rage has been remembered and I'm sure it will play well if the Wonderboy remake is anything to go by. I have to say though, I'm not crazy about the art style. It looks too manga inspired - too cartoony - where the original games had a grittier, 80s action movie feel. I’m...

Re: Atari : A Visual History Book (Concept Project)

I never even owned a Atari computer/console and I would buy this. It looks great.

Glad to hear the arcade book is still happening as I was chomping at the bit when was originally announced.
