Re: BHS

woolworths was always the oddest shop on the high street, I've always thought the oddest shop on the high street was the various types of Army/Navy Surplus sort of stores. Catering nicely for the man who needs a steady supply of camouflage pants, sleeping bags and swiss army knives. Oddest shop jus...

Re: Will Nintendo ever regain top spot?

also a matter of opinion, but Nintendo games usually have beautiful visuals (that age far better than other studios more 'mature' efforts). despite the hardware deficit to the other consoles these games are mostly at 60fps too. I would say the games are quite visually diverse, pikmin 3 (realistic), ...

Re: BHS

woolworths was always the oddest shop on the high street, now replaced by the equally odd, but sh!ttier b&m+wilko+ (the not so bad) the range. people obviously want to shop in store in that vein - I just don't get it. shelves full of utter cack. the only reason I rate the range is that it sells dece...

Re: Will Nintendo ever regain top spot?

with the quality of games on wii u compared to the other 2 systems, Nintendo don't deserve to be in 3rd place at the moment, so can they regain top spot? no. do they need to? probably not, gaming is huge now. if they were the Disney of video games they need to be aggressively buying every large fran...

Re: What game/s do you think got unfairly reviewed?

Resident evil was praised way to much, unfairly so in my opinion
Other than that, perhaps Luigi's mansion was unfairly treated, but its all just opinions....influenced by fashions and bandwagon jumping, something that is still recognisable in reviews today. Reviews suck.

Re: Wii U Owners Thread - Including User IDs

the first level starts good as its essentially starfox 64 with better graphics. it's the only level out of the 4 I played that didn't annoy me....which doesn't bode well for the rest of the game. I will give it another go, but I agree with Shadowman - would be better as an on rails game. even the po...

Re: Wii U Owners Thread - Including User IDs

got my copy of starfox today, was genuinely excited as I love the old games.... played for about an hour and i'm confused by the design decisions taken. i'm not impressed by the controls or having to constantly look down at the screen/flick the screen mode or aim with the gyro in the pad - this got ...

Re: Retro Gamer issue 152

I don't buy retrogamer every month, but i'm enjoying this issue greatly, nice to see wipeout feature in the mag with sega rally, although there was a weird quote/sentence in that article made it sound like the devs left Sega racing studio in the lurch to head to Codemasters, when actually everybody...

Re: In the Hunt (ARC/PS1/SAT)

I have the Saturn version - if yours doesn't work, you'll need to boot the Saturn system to the 'desktop' (the spacey background where you can change system settings etc) then put the game in and load it from there. if you stick the disc in the system and then turn the Saturn on the game won't work....

Re: Wanted. Wireless Internet adaptor xbox360

my adapter is the wireless n type (with the two prongs) having just googled it I see they go for about £25. If you like I can check how much I can pick one up through work, they may be a lot cheaper than that (can't promise though). don't mind throwing some cash in with it if you have something cool...
