Re: What are you currently playing?

Yakuza 3 on the PS3, I bloody love this game it's mental. Bloodborne, this is so unforgiving but fun. Annnnd still playing Battlefront. Got the Platinum on Friday night/Saturday morning after an epic struggle with the Sullust survival mission on Master difficulty. Now just to sit back and enjoy the ...

Re: What are you currently playing?

I saw Yakuza 0 was out and watched a few vids and very nearly pulled the trigger on it. I was literally on the Amazon page and had added it to my basket! Then common sense prevailed. I have Yakuza 3/4/5 and Dead Souls in the house! So I went back to this today after nearly 5 years. It didn't take me...

Re: Star Wars battlefront....

I bought this in the sale too and im also enjoying it. The weapons dont seem too different in terms of shoot shoot your dead rather that shoot, shoot shoooooooot why arent you dead... I will say though one gripe is that the "hero" is massively overpowered be it darth, luke or leia etc. Not fun . Exp...

Thank you

(I don't really play multiplayer though)

 You're welcome.

Re: What are you currently playing?

Oblivion on the 360. I never finished it, played loads in 2007 then went back to it in 2011 and continued last week.

I must have put 20 hours in this week alone. Love it.

Re: 2017: What games are you looking forward to?

Sonic Mania Shenmue 3 (though doubtful of its Christmas 2017 release) There is no way that game is keeping to its 2017 release date, I've already factored in a delay to 2018 into my expectations, and I wouldn't even be that surprised if it doesn't get released until 2019. I'd totally forgotten abou...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Titanfall 2. A lot. The campaign is amazing fun and I love the multiplayer. It's a massive shame that it doesn't seem to be selling that well as it's the full package. Between this and Battlefront my multiplayer needs are sorted until next year (Battelfront 2!) No season pass either which is nice. A...

Re: Have Achievements & Trophies run their course?

They can add some fun to a game that's already good, but they don't polish a turd. The amount of people I've heard saying 'Oh, Game X is total crap but I played it for 18 hours because I heard it was really easy to get a 1000 gamer score' is ludicrous. Who would voluntarily play a bad game just to ...

Gears of War 4-XB1-Hardcore-That was pretty awesome. Already on another run through co-op this time.

Re: Nintendo NX Reveal Coming Tomorrow!

I think it looks good personally. I like that I won't have to buy (I know I don't HAVE to but) different versions of games e.g 3D Mario Land/World, as they're too similar. I played Land loads but when I got World I had already seen most of what it had to offer in gameplay terms. In essence it was to...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Playing loads of Star Wars Battlefront still. A friend and I are trying to co-op all the missions at Master difficulty. Not easy but fun. It took us 2 hours to get it on one of the missions! Forza Horizon 3- Sooooo good! Haven't played as much as I'd like due to ^^ Still loving Mad Max PS4 but again...

Re: Which book(s) are you currently reading?

I finished a Brave New World. God that was hard going as it's VERY dated but the story it tells is still compelling. Lost Stars- another Star Wars novel. This was a good read and it gives more back story to how the Empire worked. It's part love story but goes into depth about the people on the 2 sid...

Re: PS4 hard drive upgrade problems

Fixed Silly me. I was downloading the 'Update' when it should have been the System Firmware download. Got it sorted now. A nice 2TB hard drive in there. Now I've got an issue with a slow download of Battlefield 4 aaagh! Pause and restart the download usually fixes that for me. The other option is s...
