How times have changed. A silver PS2 offered for an unboxed MegaCD. A MCD2 at that. Let's not forget that the MCD had virtually no decent games for it other than what you could more or less get on Megadrive. Sonic CD excepted. Thing is, I would offer the same  And the Wolfteam games, Thunderh...

Do people really pay this sort of money for consoles? And if so why?

Doesnt matter how new it is, the games are going to be second hand, I really dont see the point.

Sounds like Sidearms or Forgotten worlds. Maybe even Exolon?

I think there is definately some confusion here, R-Type came out in 89, and that is definately a descriptionof the heart not hive boss in R-Type, unless its being confused with the guy riding the Dragon in Dragon Breed.

It refered to the original conversions, Apple 2, Spectrum and CPC. The Amiga, ST and Master System versions came later by a different team, with the MD and Snes versions being done by Tengen, and so it goes it on. Out of the above 8 bits it was the best, the point being that Marble Madness should n...

Im with Craig, MSR was overhyped tosh. The Kudos system was a nice idea, bugged and floored but nice idea. And the realtime clock was awful, got fed up with driving at night, couldnt be bothered changing the clock on the machine to make it right either. The challenges were ok, and the game was okay,...

Also not down with the Yoot, but have happy memories of SF The Movie on the Saturn, recently played arcade version via emulation, and it wasnt nearly as good. I think the Saturn just had a great version, and it got slated because the arcade and PSX versions were not all that. Certainly enjoyed playi...

Good point. Its interesting that it is cheaper to buy a CD in ASDA than to download from MSN, plus you get the case and artwork, maybe the answer lies in realistic pricing for digital content. I have bought loads on Steam purely because of the price compared to retail versions. I do download roms ho...
