Recommended UK retailer

Hi,

Who do you guys'n'gals recommend as a UK retailer for cheap, retro and hard to find games? Aside from ebay I mean... lol Is there a good store in the UK that is reliable and has good stocks? Imports too?

Thanks,

Ant ;)

Re: Starting off with a bang

Excited! Picked up a PSP 2000 (piano black) from Gamestation today for £55 with box, manuals, charger, battery. No mem card but the unit is in very nice condition with no scratches or marks. Running 6.39. Gave it a tryout on Tekken Dark Resurection and all seems well. Going to hunt down a decent mem...

Re: Gamecube - your favourite title and collecting

Don't have the Gamecube anymore, but when I did it was Viewtiful Joe for me! Ikaruga too, along with Spider-man and Burnout. Mainstream or what...! LOL

Would like to revisit them again one day...

Re: Starting off with a bang

Thanks guys - you've been really helpful! At least now I know what hacks and emulators and things to look out for - before I'd not have had a clue! So where I am now is thinking... A PSP 2000 series has a good collection of games out of the box, and can play "rarer" import titles too with no messing...

Re: Starting off with a bang

Is there a difference between the PSP models when it comes to emulation compatability? The E-1000 looks nice and affordable and the Slim'n'Lite one is supposed to have a better screen? Thanks for the tip re those collections - Gradius collection looks pretty cool!

Re: Starting off with a bang

Thanks for the tips folks. Ideally I'd rather have an out-of-the-box console that has a good back-catalogue of games. I'd rather keep it as simple as possible to be honest. How does the PSP fare for good old-style shooters? If it's decent then I can always consider the emulation route down the line....

Starting off with a bang

Hi all, I'm new here! My first post and I need some advice. I used to own PS1, Megadrive, Dreamcast and Gamecube and populated them all with a selection of shoot-em-ups. That was quite a few years ago, and I sold them all off along with the games and the TV! Just recently I've been looking into gett...
