Re: Bruce Forsyth

I remember my mum made us all sit through awful michael barrymore chat shows, untill one day she informed us that she wouldnt watch him anymore as he had "revealed he was queer". Didnt mind him being gay but was grateful parents bigotry meant i didnt have to see the shows.

Re: Most Disappointing games thread?

I think Forsaken was pretty good I just had the wrong idea about it. I was expecting wipeout and rage racer crossed with duke nukem. Actually I just checked youtube and the PC version looks much faster and less glitchy than the PS1.

Re: How does anyone buy a porn magazine in a paper shop?

Ah, tramp porn was the lifeblood of our school economy. It was like finding a pot of gold coming across a discarded stash. I always wondered why the anonymous "donators" didn't just bin their stash, why hide it in a bush like a deviant squirrel? I think its cause bins are public. You could put them...

Re: Most Disappointing games thread?

Yeah, I saw a video of it on youtube and it didn't look as slow as I remember, so maybe my copy or console had something wrong.

Was N64 ever announced as Dolphin?

You know how the codename for GameCube was Dolphin, and the code for N64 was project reality. I'm sure that when Nintendo first announced in magazines they were working on a 64 bit, in 1994 or so, that was announced as being called the Dolphin as well. Am I remembering it wrong or did anyone else se...

Re: How does anyone buy a porn magazine in a paper shop?

I've bought condoms in boots, and that was not too bad. I guess its just the freakiness of the till person knowing "you will use this mag to wank, you will use this condom for sex".

Most Disappointing games thread?

Can we have a new thread about the biggest let downs as the last 2 on the sticky thread are so old. I remember being excited for the game Forsaken on PS1. It was a FPS where you race around on hover-bikes. I was mad on the magazine pictures, but when I rented it, it was snail slow. Also Colony Wars ...

Re: Games you wanted but never got?

I always wanted to get MDK on the PS1 but never got round to it, the one time I saw it I bought something else and I always regretted that.

Re: How does anyone buy a porn magazine in a paper shop?

I think this thread has certain validity, Pr0n Mags can be considered Retro, with digital content a few clicks away these days. but still true. I think we should have a retro pron section in the mag. there's a good blog online called Venus Observations that posts 70s soft porn mag pics. They ...

Re: How does anyone buy a porn magazine in a paper shop?

I swear that's true about the swingers! I used to be in bed asleep, and I'd be woken up by the sounds of cars arriving to their house at about 2am, and I'd see them all in the front room drinking and chatting, and then the curtains would be drawn and they'd be all these shadows behind the curtains b...

I was always curious about Vib Ribbon but I only saw it in a shop once. I wanted to try a few metal riffs in it.

Re: How does anyone buy a porn magazine in a paper shop?

I remember when I first found soggy bush mags, there were adverts for those vibrating rubber fannies and I couldn't believe they existed. But to actually find one is the ultimate jackpot. I hope the last owner gave it a wipe though. On a similar note, I had a couple in their 30s who were swingers li...
