Re: Alien Trilogy On Sega Saturn

My best mega drive friend was mad on the Alien 3 mega drive game as a kid. He went on to me about how it was so realistic and heart pumping. It was good, but a bit repetitive.

Re: Have you ever had a supernatural experience?

I've got a friend who had stuff like that happen to him all the time, he has blackouts and "loses time", he has things disappear, he has out of body trips where he's driving and he's then floating over the car looking down on himself.

Have you ever had a supernatural experience?

I would like to know if anyone has ever had a supernatural experience or had a friend who did? I had a best friend as a kid who was mad on UFOs and used to tell me he saw his grandad's ghost at his grandma's house. He now runs some ghost-spotting group that goes to old haunted houses and puts videos...

Re: Any Freemasons amongst us?

A couple of years ago I was in the queue in Tesco's buying some lunch, and there were 2 men in front of me. One was a friendly looking middle aged man, he looked like a kindly old school teacher. The other was a younger, really hard looking man, like a mean looking bouncer. Both in smart business su...

Re: Alien Trilogy On Sega Saturn

I really got into Alien Trilogy on the PS1. the Aliens arcade game was weird though, I could never believe that some guy would survive just walking around in the open on an alien infested planet, shooting at crowds of them.

Re: How does anyone buy a porn magazine in a paper shop?

I remember my mum going mad because me and my dad were watching a scarlett pimpernel movie and the wenchy woman in the film had a big bosom with cleavage, and she started shouting at my dad saying "you should know that is offensive to me, you shouldn't watch that in this house"! My mum was so bizzar...

Re: Funniest game you've ever played

I remember loving Duke Nukems antics like going into adult shops and kareoke and his one liners. I think the biggest laugh for me was the end of Tekken 2 when you get to play as animals like kanagroos and dinosaurs, with first person view too! The weirdness of that blew me away. Mario's voice in 64 ...

Re: Which book(s) are you currently reading?

The World Inside by Robert Silverberg is great - its about a future where everyone lives crammed in huge towers and isn't allowed to leave, and they have to let one partner a night have sex with them, whoever asks them first (to stop jealousy in the cramped conditions). Even though they also marry a...

Re: Was N64 ever announced as Dolphin?

Maybe the early PS or saturn had a similar name. Im sure I remember something. I remember reading in a mag about the 3DO and Jaguar, and it said, but Nintendo are meeting this challenge with the Dolphin, and Sega have a new console too, and being really excited. Could be a mixed up memory though.

Re: Video nasties!

I remember my jaw dropping the first time I watched Brain Dead with the zombie granny falling apart and stomping on the monkey. I actually ordered an uncut copy of Spit on Your Grave from China - wish I hadn't bothered now I've seen it.
