You in your Mario costume! :D
I snuck it in, but I was told in no uncertain terms that it had to be removed :D
Maybe do it as a centre spread! After all Roger Frames did it in the final issue of Commodore Format (Oct 1995)

Re: Now That's What I Call Music!

Looks like Now 4 on CD has resurfaced again for one bargain hunter! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NOW-THATS-CALL-MUSIC-4-CD-ORIGINAL-1984-VERY-RARE-/320839202999?pt=UK_Records&hash=item4ab381b8b7 Its quite cheap at the moment (£15 at the time of typing) but watch it go up to £300 in the next few days. T...

Re: From the forum - Retro Gamer turns 100

I remember seeing one copy left of Issue 1 in WH Smith all those years ago and I decided not to get it as it looked all tatty. Little did I know that it was the intentions of the designer to make the front cover look that way! So I missed it in the shops and managed to get it on Ebay before the pric...

Re: Issue 100.

Don't know if this is too late for an idea for Issue 100 but how about revisting an article from issue 1, i.e. The Mastertronic Story and do a new take on it. Get interviewers from staff members etc. People behind some of the games like Shaun Southern and what it was like to get work published under...

Re: From the forum issue 96

Sensible Trainspotter Simulator - The final Sensible Software game given away by Amiga Power Also my favourite moments haven't been the giveaway as such. Amstrad Action gave away How To Be A Complete Bastard on one of their new Action Pack covertapes only for the parents to complain saying "we don't...

Re: Issue 96 Official feedback

I guess with Christmas coming up, the postie will be working extra hard so it might be a bit more nearer to the on sale date for deliveries to the door mat.

Re: Issue 95 Official Feedback

Looks like a really strong, error filled issue  Yeh, the music in 1982 was much better than the cack in that top 5 - someone needs a gentle slap me thinks!! Good to see I get lots of mentions   Looks like its the chart from 1989 with the likes of Jive Bunny As for 1982, well that ha...

Re: Issue 100.

When Amiga Format was 100 issues old back in 1997, it came complete with a cut out and keep issue 1, granted the pages were thumb size but it was a nice novelty gift. When .net magazine reached 100 issues back in 2002 it came with a free mouse mat. Gift or no gift, I'm just glad Retro Gamer is still...

Re: From the forum issue 96

I loved playing Friday The 13th on the Amstrad CPC 464. The variety of the soundtracks as you roamed around with an axe! Plus at the end of the tape was a competition that you had to put the game tape into a Hi-FI and identify 10 sound effects and if you sent the enclosed postcard back to Domark, yo...
