Re: The PSP collecting thread

Hey all! Back after years of absence. Hope the people I did talk to are still here! Gotten back into PSP collecting after the Vita Collecting has gone a little slow. I've played 7th Dragon 2020 via a Patch and currently have Summon Night 5 installed (pretty odd system of how you take turns). I actua...

Re: rare xbox 360 games

Most of the top 20 selling UK games were also well known franchises from what I've looked up, any other franchise that is not COD, FIFA, AssCreed or Nintendo games are lucky to even get to 100,000, such as Ni no Kuni (which I have my doubts on as well, despite it getting to Number 1). I did apologis...

Re: Is Online Abuse to Developers going too far?

Seriously? Tons of bad games then. Kids saving up for ages for World Cup carnival, Miami Vice or knight Rider etc. I loved the 8 bit years but there were plenty of turkeys . I understand that there were bad games back then, but I never seemed to have bought a particularly bad game...although I am n...

Re: ps2 collecting

A version of It was released in Uk for Wii - if that's of interest to you? Sorry, I mean as in that I am surprised no one has the PS2 version of Sakura Wars given that it has dual language options and a cool load of extras! :D The Wii version is sadly inferior, which is why I mentioned it in this t...

I see a lot of SEGA PS2 games but not the American Import of Sakura Wars. D:

Re: rare xbox 360 games

Yep, it sold just shy of 20,000 in UK. Source: http://www.vgchartz.com/game/48825/binary-domain/UK/ I know, VGC isn't the best source, but it's as good as we get. I think that's the American one if it's the 20,000 I mentioned. (someone posted the NPD (the american monthly gaming sales charts)...

Re: Misunderstood gems

I like Heart of Darkness myself, I heard it got a few bad reviews. Same with Hogs of War...which is bad in some way, but good gameplay in another. I also liked Binary Domain as a latest example...people brush it off as a late COD clone but it really isn't...in fact, it does Terminator: The game bett...

Re: Is Online Abuse to Developers going too far?

In my day we moaned about crap games in the playground, now you can abuse the developers directly. I don't think I ever saw a "bad" game back in the day since they had to make an effort to grab our money as kids. In the case of Phil Fish a lot of the stuff that happened to him was his own d...

Re: 3DS Games discussion/Collecting thread

Nice that we get a boxed version while the US only gets the download version. Usually it's the other way around when it comes to nice packaging vs crappy cheap releases. Anyway...I feel disgusted with myself for knowing that I'll buy this game   Just thank your lucky stars that it's not ...

Re: The PSP collecting thread

Has anyone bought Onore no Shinzuru Michi o Yuke yet? It's Import Friendly apparently and a VERY good game for a cheapish price (£15/20 normally). http://www.nin-nin-game.com/1643-1918-large/onore-no-shinzuru-michi-wo-yuke.jpg If anyone has any impressions, please let me know! :D Edit: I also recomm...

Re: Where did you shop?

A Video Rantal shop in the other village (we had one too...and BUBBLE BOBBLE AS AN ARCADE CABINET! I never got to play it though), I rented "The Wizard", (to which I was confused as to why Mario was "big" (being brought up on a Mega Drive....yeah) which looking back, is pretty god damned awful! Also...

Re: What are/were your favourite 70's/80's cartoons?

well ..... it ws sort of GATCHAMAN ..... all the "language issues" from keeyop and some of the more violent action was taken out, that's why we got 7-ZARK-7 and 1-ROVER-1 as filler  oh and this WHY ISN'T THIS A LIVE ACTION MOVIE??? with JUSTICE - AUDIO VIDEO DISCO as the soundtrack????????????...

How far is the Train Station?

I can go to Sheffield from my local Village for £6.10 (return). It's not that bad considering Sheffield's an hour's drive away.
