Hey hey! Quite a few here at least. :)

Is anyone going for the new games or are you sticking to the retro sections?

I'll check out the retro stuff when I get there but it's mostly new games for me.

Re: The BBFC ruined your childhood (riddled with spoilers)

Oooh, sorry to be pedantic, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't. I'm certain he says "Dastard", a word so close to "bastard", which, in all fairness isn't really a swearword after all. A bastard being a child of unmarried parents (so right now, there's a lot of bastards in this world), a dastard being A...

Re: The BBFC ruined your childhood (riddled with spoilers)

The one where Springfield's legendary Hero is a fraud.

Homer says "THE BASTARD" in it, but it's omitted in the latest Channel 4 re-runs....which is funny, so you don't see Homer get angry at it but you see him make the expression mid way through...so....it's a bad edit.

Re: What size TV did you play on?

I think I played on an 16" Toshima from 1996/2003. Then it was a 18" Bush DVD/VHS combi from 2003/2006 (my parents have it now, and the DVD Player doesn't work despite the VHS still working). Now I have a 32" Goodmans which I bought out of my own college money in 2007 which I still have to this day....

Re: TV Show - Knightmare

First of all, what a show. We ALL watched this. Now the big question? did any contestant ever beat this thing? I swear, like Crystal Maze, it was designed so that nobody ever won. Maybe they didn't have the money for the prizes so they set people up to fail lol Anyways, did you guys watch this? Wha...

Re: PLAY EXPO (formerly Replay), 13-14 October 2012, Manches

Is the Lass O'Gowrie still having a post-expo get together? If so, there's an Ibis Hotel literally one solitary minute's walk from the Lass. (Charles St/Princess St, not the Portland St one I initially mentioned) Might be worth considering. Good to know another Stopfordian is here! :) I haven't see...

Re: Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed - SEGA's Legacy in

I'm pretty sure ristar could just float about like opa opa in the last one. The first was excellent! A game I got for the collection originally but then progressed to eating up a lot of spare time. Pretty psyched about starlight carnival from colours as a track. Word on the street is that Opa Opa i...

I played the Gamecube one earlier this year, I sadly couldn't get into it due to a few issues with the Battle System and how slow a few things were regarding moving in dungeons and side quests...

I hope you enjoy it though.

Re: Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed - SEGA's Legacy in

I am sure we will film it and upload to Youtube after the event (as with all our other talks). That's really great to hear! I'm sure everyone will appreciate that (including myself). I know the Producer will be taking questions at the Expo (I have no idea when that's on, nor my bro or his mates car...

Valkyria Chronciles III (Japanese Import), I beat a hard mission only for the PSP to troll me and kill itself of power before I could save...the SOAB.

Space Channel 5: Part 2 is another game I am playing, but it is so unforgiving.

Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week

Completed as in 100% or completed as in just beat the game via ending it's story or screen? I beat the true ending to No More Heroes....whoever said the true boss (can't say due to spoilers) was hard was not to be taken seriously. I found the glass cannon final boss (Normal Ending) MUCH harder to be...

Re: How much should I sell a Sega Genesis 3 stil in the box

Not much, since it can't have add ons on the system as well as the fact that it has some issues playing a small number of games.

Not sure about the NSTC issue for PAL gamers either, but you won't get as much as you think.

Re: Manic Industry

I would love to hear more about this if anyone had more ideas on how the industry works. I have heard that in EA the workload is horrible and they offer little overtime or benefits in Crunch Time....and the only food you get free is the unhealthy crap which is why most (not all) of those people who ...

Re: What retro Bargains have you found? What where & how much

Panzer Dragoon Saga. £90 on eBay, the only bad thing about it is that the box is beat up but the discs only have very light scratches to them. What sucks about it all? the Saturn I thought I got a bargain for (£15) has a semi working laser (It'll boot up Panzer Dragoon Saga but not fully...and it's ...
