Favorite Video Game TV Commercial

What's your favorite video game TV commercial?

For me:

https://youtu.be/CrATmeFoJPE

When I saw that ad on TV for the first time, that was when I realized that games were becoming MUCH more popular. And it made me want a NES (I had a Sega Master System and an Atari 2600 back then).

Local play on one system, not networked, for 3 or more players?
My bad there. Did not see his second post.

I just read "Local" and was thinking good LAN co-op games.

A few that spring to mind:

Sticking to games with co-op options.

* Command and Conquer / Red Alert - All of them
* Doom 1 & 2
* Heretic and Hexen
* Homeworld 2
* Starcraft

Re: Shooting Gallery Games Recommendations

Even if it's not completely related to a shooting gallery game, feel free to mention them, as they may give me ideas.

"Crossbow" for example, looks awesome. I'd have loved to have played that in the arcades.

Xenon 2.

Loved this game on the Sega Master System. The main new music was just awesome. Gameplay was quite good as well.

Re: Shooting Gallery Games Recommendations

Hmm. Firstly, thanks for all the game mentions. Had a watch of gameplay of all the games mentioned and none of them really match what I'm after. Though Hogan's Alley was a good one. I'm more looking for games where it's on rails, old school before video arcades style. Like: https://www.youtube.com/w...

Re: Shooting Gallery Games Recommendations

I'd put Duck Hunt in a different category, as it's fast moving targets as opposed to shooting gallery style which is generally targets in fixed lanes.

Shooting Gallery Games Recommendations

Thought this the best place to ask such a question, as I'm considering making a shooting gallery style game, and games of the 3rd console generation had a few of these here and there. Then much later on was Point Blank etc. Looking for some good shooting gallery games for research. Preference being ...

Re: Why do you hate your readers?

Well, where I'm up to issues wise (up to issue 148 currently), that is not in the mag. So if it's in now then awesome. That said, the 80s-90s will forever be the golden age of gaming for me, as you had the best of both worlds across all systems, as there was a clear games difference between every co...

Re: Why do you hate your readers?

I'd love to see to see a "Back to the 00's". 80s has been done and the 90s will be done eventually so it makes sense. I have no interest in the 70s or earlier.
