Re: Where did you shop?

I GREW UP IN DOVER IN KENT, WE DID NOT HAVE A GAME OR EB UNTIL 2004 (I ENDED UP WORKING THERE FOR 7 YEARS) SO I SHOPPED AT RUMBERLOWS UNTIL THEY CLOSED DURING THE MID LATE NINETIES. I ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WAS LIKE A MUCH NICER VERSION OF DIXONS, WITH MUCH LESS PUSHY STAFF.

Re: a decade only

I think the 90's also, no one has mentioned the n64! My personal favourite games machine of all time, the last cartridge system, awesome controller and fantastic line up of games - Goldeneye 007, Zelda Ocarina and Majoras Mask, Diddy Kong Racing, F Zero X, Excitebikes, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64,...

Re: Faulty Snes Help?

Thanks for the feedback guys, I tried again today but to no avail, I threw it away. Think I will stick to n64 and dreamcast, never had a moments problem from either of them, cheers. :)

Faulty Snes Help?

Hello, recently I was given a snes console which has not been used since 1998, it came with 3 games. The machine and the games were really dirty and worse for wear. I cleaned everything up nicely but cannot get the machine to work at all. The machine turns on but I get no sound or picture (except on...

Re: Name your 3 favourite wrestling games ever!

WWF Wrestlemania 2000 on the n64 is my favorite I think just edges out wwf no mercy simple because my copy of no mercy was faulty and I had to return it to eb stores twice as my save game kept corrupting. At the time my closest eb store was over 15 miles away! WWE Allstars on ps3, the best wrestling...

Re: Xbox 360 place in gaming

I think the 360 is the megadrive of its day. Up against a rival slightly more powerful and refined but with a larger collection of decent games and a raw almost rustic quality to it. Up until recently it was almost all about hardcore games until cruddy kinect diluted the focus.

Xbox 360 place in gaming

Just wondering how well the xbox 360 will be judged in future years? I think it could be judged one of the best machines of all time, an awesome games catalogue (gears, pgr, forza, fable, left 4 dead, halo, best multi format conversions) first machine to offer full online gaming with just about ever...

Videogame store in Folkestone, kent during 1990's

Bit of a long shot but just wondering if anybody knew the name of the videogame store at sandgate road folkestone during the 1990s? It mainly sold pc and home computer games (big cardboard boxes) and also some psone and saturn games. It closed around 1998, which was around the time that playaway ope...

Re: Is there such a thing as a good looking N64 game?

ridge racer 64 is a pretty looking game, very colourful and chunky compared to the ps1 version (admittedly 5 years later). :D

I still think it holds up well today as long as you do not compare it to fifa 12 or pes. I did prefer Goal back in the day though on the old amiga 500. :D

Re: The NFL 'craze' of the mid 80s to early 90s

I was a washington redskins man myself, I got into it after someone bought me a redskins cuddly toy for my birthday. I remember playing american football on the atari 2600 around the same time, you could only play as 2 teams and one wore pink lol.
