Re: I really want an Amiga CD32, but........

Apologies if it wasn't intended like that. Hard to tell on a forum smetimes so sorry for any offence caused and thanks for your input ok no problem, accepted. But please, if you want a cd32, buy one, you will not regret it. The best time to buy one is right now, things are only going up in value. P...

Re: I really want an Amiga CD32, but........

I wanted to put your mind to rest, you had "heard" that retro cd drives dont cope well with copied disks, but this is simple hearsay based on anecdotal evidence. Use good quality, slow burned CD media without errors and it will be absolutely fine. Someone earlier replied to you: "You dont really wan...

Re: Dino Dini making a new Kick Off Game for PS4

dino dini had built up a lot of good will in the bank with most retro gamers, and then he goes and wastes it with stuff like this. Its shameful to release this garbage, and his attitude is less than satisfactory about anyone rightfully criticising it. Unfortunitely his name is now forever asssociate...

Re: I really want an Amiga CD32, but........

I heard the laser on them doesn't cope very well with copied discs Do you worry when you put a burned cd or dvd into any other device? When i burn files to dvd, i dont worry that each time i read them i'm reducing the lifespan of the dvd player in my pc There is no evidence that well burned cds red...

Re: Retro Gamer Reader Survey

Who designed this questionnaire? Q2 How old are you? 13 to 18 or 18 to 24 Which option do you click of you are 18? Q3 Are you asking about sex or gender? why are there only two options? Q4 my "current status" is sitting at a PC - oh, you mean "marital status"! Q7 why is there no "Unemployed" status?...

Re: Any love for Knuckles' Chaotix ?

I dont mind it, but its not as much fun as the previous mega drive versions.

And it is going up and up in value, so if you ever want to own one better buy it now - it will never be as cheap again!

Re: Bubble Bobble vs Rainbow Islands

Rainbow islands for me, that game was fantastic across all ports, even the c64 and speccy!

It has so much play-ability and depth, that most of the time its missed by casuals.

Its in my top 10 of all time games, easily.

Saying that, bubble bobble is great too.

Re: Is there bullying/steamrolling on this forum?

I rarely post here, and my enjoyment of the forum has waned massively - purely due to steamrollering/ bullying. I know it takes all sorts, and variety is the spice of life etc, but its usually the same handfull of antagonists. On the forum everyone should be equal, and every ones opinion should get ...

Re: Mario Kart 8

Played it today on on a store set-up, it's decent enough I suppose but it's clearly trying (and failing to be) Sonic Racing Transformed. A long way from being the game to save the Wii U. A long way? It seems to be selling consoles in every other forum I read, and great reviews/ recommendations from...
