Re: SNES - Super Adventure Island - Difficulty level!

Finally completed it wahoo!!!!!! I'm 30 years old and to finally complete a game i've owned since I was like 9 is a really weird/good feeling. Every time I kept dieing and getting annoyed I just thought about the AVGN episodes I watched where games are rubbish but he just persists. Need to pick my n...

Help me remember this cartoon please! (from 90's).

Sat at work just now and just randomly remembered seeing this character once, possibly on cartoon network. Late 90's I reckon. And he was some big crazy looking guy and had really goofy bad teeth and just kept shouting that he needs some floss. I don't think he was a regular in the cartoon, just pop...

SNES - Super Adventure Island - Difficulty level!

I've owned this game since I was a kid, and I don't think I ever got any further than the first couple of levels because of how easy it is to die! So I stuck to Mario instead. I turned Super Adventure Island back on last night, finally managed to get to the first boss and kill him. But the game is s...

Re: Original Game Boy internal speaker - Replacing?

Maybe I should mention I'm also asking what type of speaker I should be looking for?
I can solder 2 wires easily but I don't know much else about speaker types etc.

Original Game Boy internal speaker - Replacing?

Hi all, My mate said he will give me a few quid for my old original Game Boy I can fix the speaker on it. (Sound works fine through the headphone jack, I've checked it all out and 100% it's a dead speaker). What's the cheapest place I can buy a speaker from? (online or on the high street). Hoping it...

Re: Would you bother returning these games? (Ebay & CharityS

Ahh right okay. Well another lesson learnt then. I shall message sellers first asking the exact cart code from now on!
I'm so fussy i know but I really don't like FRA being on this cart lol.

Cheers all yet again.

What to do with fake Game Boy Advance games?

Recently purchased a GBA SP with 9 games off a local lad for VERY cheap. So I didn't bother thoroughly inspecting all the games as I just wanted to get home after work. On getting home I realise 3 of the games are fakes (and it's SO obvious, I knew about fake games out there but didn't think it woul...

Re: Would you bother returning these games? (Ebay & CharityS

Grrrr EBAY!!! Bought a NES game off there now for a couple of quid, description said it was PAL. But the label on the cart says FRA! Weirdly though the game still works on my NES and all the words are in English (I'm assuming FRA stands for France). When someone describes something as PAL, I always ...

Re: The Atari Lynx

I used to love going round my Grandma's at the weekend to play on my cousin's Lynx 2. Big size, always had to have it plugged into the mains, and it could be flipped sideways or upside down for certain games. Games I remember being quality are... Klax, Xenophobe (Loads of characters to choose from),...

SNES Super Game Boy default options?

Hi all, something that's been bugging me for years and years but just remembered/decided to ask the question... I've owned my Super Game Boy from new when I was a kid, and the Controller Set-Up option always defaults to TYPE B. Is this normal?? I always have to manually change it to Type A, then pla...
