As a gamer if the CPC did have a great version of "so and so" that made all the others look crap I want to play it, I just have never really come across any game that was far better on the C...

You could get one of those front light things you clip onto the GBA. Obviously not nearly as good as a backlight like on the SP but may be a cheap alternative?

Atleast you'll be able to play the games without someone having to stand over you holding a floodlight.

Well it IS compatible and WILL work. However you can't put the casing back together again coz the drive won't fit.

I had to check coz I knew there was something that prevented you from using an A500 drive in an A1200 even though it IS compatible.

How much? I AM interested but I'm a bit skint at the mo. I was actually just looking at some PCB's (saw Strider amongst others) and was considering getting one. It may be something I get later on (when I've got some dosh). Do you build these yourself? Looks good. When I've got some dosh I may have t...

Re:

We're making a few adjustments to one of the DPSs next issue. It's still going to fill 3/4 of the page, but it's going to be a lot easier to see what's going on and there will be more screens as well... Thank god! If the space must be filled with a game image then a montage of screen shots would be...

Yeah, the GBA screen is absolute crap. Some chaps even had to modify their GBA's with a built in light to light the screen (called the Afterburner) so they could see. There was a limited edition version release released in Japan with a built in light (now a bit of a collectable and fairly rare for a...

So spitting all over the contacts doesn't work too good?

Gotcha!

If he did what you suggested he'd find the games would work good as new and wouldn't have any problems with temperamental carts not working. I always have some head cleaning fluid knocking about somewhere. Works miracles.
