<pedant> Strictly speaking, it is. It has a CPU, it has memory, it has input/output ports, it runs firmware, an OS and apps (well, games). "Console" should be seen as a subdivision of the "Computer" group, with machines like the C64, Speccy CPC etc as "Home Computers". </pedant> Not that it matters...
