OMG! No Castlevania.

But more to the point, no Dracula X (PCE)!

R-Type (PCE/Arcade)

PC Kid (PCE)

Super Metroid (SNES).

I'm glad Manic Miner made the list and not Jet Set Willy. Soz just noticed the thread. Would have posted with my suggestions had I realised sooner.  It's a good list. Some really poor omissions. Some really fine and unexpected inclusions. Definately some I would never have included. The...

And no Tetris (GB).

That would have to have been included. Without it the Gameboy would probably have been a flop. Probably. Even my mom played it!

SirClive!

Outrun!

And why the hell is GTA:VC included? And the PC version above the PS2 version at that.

It's just not retro in any way shape or form.

For that to be in there and not Wonderboy in Monsterland or Outrun as is sacrilege.

Also nice to see some CPC games in there and not everyone succumbing to the Speccy and C64 version being better.

Re:

I know I wasn't rich. My Mom and Dad bought me an Atari 2600 with Combat and Space Invaders but after that couldn't afford any more games. So I only ever had those two games and had to rent any others from the local video store. Which was either a blessing or a pain. I rented Raiders of the Lost Ar...

Re:

I'm suprised no-one's mentioned Renegade-that was meant to be a good comparison to the C64/Speccy versions I'll be honest, I don't think I've ever played it. I'm pretty sure I only have it for the Spectrum. I've been wracking my brains trying to think of some more CPC titles to reccomend. It isn't ...

I'm actually about to sit down to watch the uncut version of Devils Rejects. I'm hoping at some point the uncut version of House of 1000 Corpses will rear it's ugly head.

I'm not gonna say the CPC version is better because I've not played the other versions in this case but even if it was the bi...
