Re: UEFA Euro 2012

Shrek loses the plot due to his frustration at a lack of service and the frequent niggling fouls committed upon his person by the Italian defence. He gets booked for a reckless foul, Balotelli trolls him Cheeky Winker-style, Rooney decks Balotelli then gets sent off. Balotelli unable to continue an...

Re: UEFA Euro 2012

I seriously expected France to put more of a fight. Another one-sided match :(

Tomorrow won't be, though.

Re: UEFA Euro 2012

Have there been any greater chokers at penalty shoot-outs over the years than England and Italy? Yes, the Dutch  Do you want a Welsh point of view then, Hiro? ;) Two teams favouring the counter, though England seem to sit back and invite pressure more, a dangerous game to play if the lik...

Re: From the forum issue 105

For the "retro" part, I'll go with The Train - Escape from Normandy ... great memories, best played at night, guiding that train in the dark, defending from nazis... fantastic atmosphere, and original. For the modern games, I'm a fan of the Need for Speed and the Burnout saga. Some weak points, but ...

Re: UEFA Euro 2012

So, for what I can see... Englishmen wouldn't mind losing and Scots would like to see England win... it's getting difficult to follow  I agree that England is a young team, just assembled and with lots of room for improvement. As for me, I'd happily leave future glories to England and see t...

Re: UEFA Euro 2012

Greece obtained the maximum by passing the first round. Germany too strong, as Portugal was yesterday... the first two QF looked unbalanced and they have been unbalanced. The next two matches will be the most interesting ones. And tonight's result means that for us on sunday it will be a semi-final ...

Re: UEFA Euro 2012

I would rather have drawn Spain. I think Italy are far more capable of beating us with they dangerous counter style and set piece strength. Spain would just tippy tap it around the pitch for 70 mins trying to score and we would just hit them on one break and score. And as i said before quarter fina...

Re: what retro game are you currently playing ?

Tell me, is there any real difference between Ghouls n Ghosts on the SNES and the one of the Megadrive? If so, please state so I know which one to play through, as I've now got both :) As far as I remember, the SNES version is the most unforgiving  Just downloaded Syphon Filter on PSN, I didn...

Re: UEFA Euro 2012

I can see that both italian and english fans aren't very happy with the qualifying round and think their teams still have to reach their best performance. Let's see whoever is better on sunday. Unluckily we've lost our best defender (Chiellini), I hope Rooney won't find his best form this weekend :r...

Re: UEFA Euro 2012

So, England it is :) Tonight England has been lucky with the episodes (appalling Ukraine's goalkeeper, blind linesman) but I think qualification is well deserved, and the french have to blame only themselves for not being able to finish 1st. Looks like an interesting match on sunday, it's been sever...

Re: UEFA Euro 2012

No, not outright favourites, but it's better that way. And Di Natale is a great striker! He and Udinese had a great season. Di Natale is very good, only he's 35 and he's small, not a powerhouse (and we lack the big-and-strong-in-the-air centre forward), but he'll be a valuable asset for Euro 2012. ...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Just got Demon's Souls and Uncharted 3 for the PS3. Western RPGs aren't my cup of cake, but I've read enthusiastic comments about DS... and I've almost finished Uncharted 2, so... :)

Re: Lone Wolf Game Books.

Did you know that a new LW game is in the works? :) http://lonewolfthegame.com/ Cheers for the link - the intro looks interesting but will it deliver the goods? If its something like Sky Rim then its going to be good. If its like Miami Vice on the PC (remember that stinker came out bout same time a...

Re: UEFA Euro 2012

I absolutely have nothing against the Irish, quite the contrary... only I think tonight they were more focused on fighting than playing football. Can't say we see us as favourites, Cassano is unfit, Balotelli not showing his full potential, and unlike the germans we have no real "strikers", like Chr...

Re: UEFA Euro 2012

So, we made it, not without suffering... not a great game for sure, I believe that group D winners will be happy they got Italy and not Spain. We'll have to prove they were wrong.

I'd prefer playing the french and not England in the quarters, but we'll see what comes.

Ireland were a disgrace.
