Re: ISSUE 82 - Official Feedback Thread

Just got my subscriber copy in the post, and one of the doors is completely ripped off. I haven't even took the mag out of the 2nd plastic bag yet, but the door doesn't appear to be lose inside anywhere.

How do I go about getting a replacement? Do I just contact the subscriptions department?

Just ran into that mess myself - I didn't have to register last time I placed an order (a month or so ago) - and the damned site doesn't work properly with firefox... grrrr Go...

Oli Frey art - Thank you Retro Gamer!

After reading in RG about the original Oliver Frey Atic Atac artwork that was for sale, and having no idea what to buy myself as a christmas treat (amazingly, our firm paid a christmas bonus this year) I scuttled over to the website to take a look. The Atic Atac was sold, but the "Crash Mail Order" ...

Videogames Hardware Handbook

Got my subscription copy of RG on Saturday. On the address leaflet, there is an advert for a bookazine called "Videgames Hardware Handbook. 1977 to 1999. Consoles. Computers. Handhelds" and it says it is from the creators of Retro Gamer. Does anyone know anything about this? Is it a new publication?...

Re: Help needed re: binder repairs

Hi,

just to let you know, I got the binders repaired at Modern Bookbinders. They did a great job at a decent price. :D :D :D

Many thanks for your help.

Help needed re: binder repairs

Ok, this isn't related to RG feedback, but it is retro gaming related so I thought that I would post in this forum as it gives the best chance of feedback (mods, please relocate if need be). Anyways, last year I was fortunate enough to buy the complete first 6 years of the seminal Crash magazine in ...

Re: New Vs Old - Super Mario 64 Vs Super Mario Galaxy

This is such a tough choice, as both games are simply amazing. However, I'll go for Super Mario Galaxy as it takes the fantastic 3D Mario template laid down by SM64 and somehow manages to improve on it. A true classic and one of my favourite games ever (but bloody difficult - I stopped at 96 stars f...

There's a typo in the 'Perfect Ten NES Games' - it seems that Solar Jetman has been accidentally replaced with Double Dragon 2. Not to mention the typo in the contents sections - bottom of the page under the SNK heading it tells us how David Crane is returning to talk about his superior Pitfall seq...

I've been to 2 WhSmith's in the last few days (that always stock these "exclusive to WhSmith's" mags) and neither of them have this in stock. Is it actually out in the shops yet?
