Re: nokia 3310 - remade

I don't like it, it looks like a kids toy and barely resembles the phone its a 'homage' to, if it had more the body style of the orginal I might be a bit warmer to it. I think that has been one of the main complaints about it, that it doesn't look like the robust phone its referencing and people th...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

the fact it is so much hassle sometimes to do little things. tried to search for some games on steam, the search function isn't working, tested it over and over and then decided I should contact them so they are aware of the problem. look through steam to try and find "contact steam" link. nothing!....

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

yea seems a bit mixed at first glance. I thought the eurogamer article was positive and they generally liked it, but I just scrolled down google and saw wired gave it 5/10.... but I had a quick look on metacritic and I counted 34 positive reviews and 9 mixed reviews so far (although one of those is ...

Re: Threats from sellers/buyers on ebay?

nothing that bad but some dishonest seller started to get pretty narky when I was trying to send back the keyboard I bought from him, he never stated in the auction it was broken and after going through all his messages it was clear to me he set it up as to sell a broken product and get away with it...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

so chucklefish have basically just decided to make the next advance wars. i'm ok with this, I was thinking the other week that an rts game on switch would be amazing with that local multiplayer. smart decision, advance wars has a lot of fans. personally i'd love it if they took it a bit further with...

Re: nokia 3310 - remade

Really want one! Only thing is that I do tend to use the browser and Youtube on my current phone a fair bit so I'm a bit loathe to be without them. Not sure I want to 'run' 2 phones either... Other than those I don't bother with apps or any other smartphone-related gumph so this phone should be per...

Re: Heads up Wii U and 3DS games £5 sealed in Sainsbury's

went in again today, one copy left of the only game that I don't have or want to buy, no reduction on the price. I am only assuming that they are selling them pretty well in my local branch and so feel no need to cut the price. Went in yesterday, they had new Wii stock but games I had bought for £5...

Re: Real Ale Drinkers or Lagerboys?

i'm drinking some guinness golden ale, it's not very good.... bit disappointing because their foreign extra stout was a nice addition to their range which I only recently discovered. Guinness foreign extra stout IS GREAT! as is the West Indies Porter. But the Dublin Porter, Golden Ale and standard ...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

did anyone here see that stuff about someone taking apart a nintendo switch to look inside? Yeah, I posted up a link to an Ars Technica article on the last page. Nobody's really sure if it's an actual production Switch, a development model or something that's completely faked though. I guess we'll ...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

I don't know whether I am in an incredibly small minority or just very lucky or what? but it seems every issue that seems to be brought up around nintendo in recent years has not really affected me... if the capacity of the hard drive is small I don't think this will affect me either? I have barely ...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

i've been meaning to take up lessons myself, bought all the books for learning and everything, just never had the amount of money needed to invest in a car and all the other stuff I need. it's a situation I could do with fixing because finding work around where I live is impossible and commuting is ...
