Re: Favourite melee weapons in FPS games?

the gauntlet in quake is probably my favourite ,I found its quite a job to frag someone in multiplayer with it. just trying to remember if bushido blade had a first person mode? you got a great sense of how deadly the sword was from that game due to the injury system. do the glory kills in the lates...

Re: Food/Drink from the past

king size snickers bars (actual proper king size!) they have shrunk them down over the years and they are not the same. a case of the nanny state has decided because a few individuals eat 10 of them in one go or something that means we all have to have them made smaller.

Re: Highly rated games that you do not like.

Ecco the Dolphin - looked pretty and was certainly original, but no fun to play and completely unfair I kind of think of it as being a bit of a novelty game really. also agree about vectorman, that game seemed really overhyped. probably had a big budget at the time? considering all the mentions I s...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

I think something that would have been pretty cool (at least to me) would be if they were all mech suits with robotic arms. I think I have this dream that someone is gonna make some type of neon genesis evangelion, punch out nintendo hybrid game. :D as for the arms direct, I thought it did a better ...

Got a wireless one for events, the range of it is insane
It was on one side to Fab Cafe
I was on the other (30ft?)
It was working
impressive! the floatiness is a concern, but i'll give it a shot  and opt for targetting on where I need it.

Re: So, tell me about the original Nintendo Wii......

DEFINITELY get House of the Dead Overkill . It's gory, it's foul-mouthed, it's disgusting and it's f***** up and that all adds up to FUN. It's hilarious. how accurate is the wii mote for light gun games like these? I have the playstation 3 version and found the move controllers are utterly useless ...

Re: So, tell me about the original Nintendo Wii......

you'll get the best looking picture for your gc games for the price of the equipment by using bc on a wii and relevant cables. you could buy several wii consoles for the price of one gc component cable!

Re: Highly rated games that you do not like.

pretty much all of sony's highly rated current exclusive titles, aside from maybe one old favourite franchise. there was a time when their exclusive games were interesting, unique, boundary pushing, risky and fun now they are just utterly boring .ps4 still seems like crap to me, can get all I want o...

Re: Forum software upgrade

well I dunno about you guys but I thought for a moment "fatty nigerian" was a new game. How new is this "new" version of phpBB? The avatar size limits are still ridiculously small, there's still no video embedding available. its in keeping with the retro theme, like browsing a forum before you...
