Re: its all about the graphics

Odd as it seems now. Turok Dinosaur Hunter on the N64 was the first game that I felt looked 'real'. The graphics blew me away. Obviously, it looks dated now. Devil May Cry was a shocker for me as my first PS2 game. It looked out of this world. Super Mario Sunshine didn't look real but it was still a...

Re: Do you get the ZELDA love?

Yes. Very keen on the series. I see why some may feel they're overrated but I'd still say Ocarina is worth every bit of that 98%, for its design. If there are any other Action-RPG series' that are just as good, I'd like to know about them so I can play them. I've tried the Fables, Oblivions and so o...

Re: Silliest Game Character Name?

'Dagger' in Final Fantasy IX always seemed jarred. I'm sure there are better examples of names that just don't suit.

Re: What game has actually taught you something?....

Sim City taught me the perspective of Government, and got me interested in politics.

I learned the rules of sports like tennis and golf from two Gameboy games. I might even have learnt the rules for football from a Fifa Game.

Echo the Dolphin comprehensively taught me to swim.

Perfect Dark for the Gameboy Color was very impressive. Voice acting, first-person sections.

Look at the intro for Cannon Fodder for GBC as well...

I wonder just how much they would have had to cut it down. I can't recall a single Playstation to N64 port aside from Resident Evil.

Re: Introduce yourself

My name's Lee, I'm 23, I live in York. I'm from Catterick Garrison/Darlington in the north east. I seem to reminisce about games more-so than play them nowadays. My era I would say was the N64 and Playstation period...spilling over into the PS2. I'm very keen on the Zelda, Mario, Final Fantasy, Hitm...

Perfect Dark on the Gameboy Colour may be worth a mention, with its attempt at being 3D and voice acting squeezed into to that minuscule 8-bit cartridge.

Re: Which game have you played the most - and how many hours

I think I must have knocked up 1000 odd hours on Mario Kart 64. I got quite obsessed with trying to get the records back in the day. I've probably stuck 1000 hours behind Final Fantasy VII's till as well. I really wish I had this information actually.
