That sounds like a good idea. I'll look into it.

Thanks for all the ideas everyone, by the way.

Looks good, I'll have to devote some time to reading through it. Basically what got me thinking about this is that I found my copy of SEUCK for the Amiga the other day and was thinking about making a few games on it for old time's sake. I realised though that I had no way of getting them out to anyo...

Quite possibly. I've had a hunt through the net looking for something like this to see if it was already being done, but I couldn't find anything. That might just mean I wasn't looking hard enough though! Like I say, at this stage I'm only gauging reactions. I'm not going to be setting this up any t...

SEUCK owners club.

Hi. Just an idea at this stage, but I've been thinking about maybe forming some kind of SEUCK-based community, whereby rather than upload the games onto the internet to play via emulation, we would actually send each other physical disks or tapes to use on the original format. Basically, the members...

I agree with the comment about the development time. It looks to me as if they knew they wouldn't have time to create an all-round quality product so they threw everything into the gameplay and left the graphics looking scrappy. Which is surely preferable to if they'd done things the other way aroun...

Re:

Jr Pacman on the other hand is an absolutely stunning (for the limitations of the machine) arcade conversion and deserves to be in your collection right away - decent scrolling, nice sprites, funky little tunes. It NEEDS to be in your 2600 collection! Thanks. I shall begin looking for it forthwith.

Pac-Man 2600 - is the flak justified?

Yesterday I managed to get my hands on an Atari 2600 with 7 games for free (hooray!). I eagerly got it home and powered it up to see that everything worked before looking through the cartridges to see what treasures I'd acquired, and in amongst some decent stuff (Kangaroo, Death Star Battle) was a P...

I have a Master System, SNES, Saturn, PSone, N64, Amiga, GB, Gamecube and XBox 360, with anything up to 50 games for each.

I currently get to play for about 2 hours a week :(
