Re: The New gen thread PS5/XBOXsX (feat PONG)

Yeah, the PS4 versions for some games was a bit of a head scratcher. For all the flack Microsoft we're getting for making XBONE versions of Series X games, Sony just go ahead and do the same thing. Least you own the PS5 version too if you get the PS4 one but since Spiderman was the only game I was i...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

That was an improvement on the first Partner Showcase. More meaty and less "Oh you don't like shin megami tensei? Tough!" Vibe to it.

Should give Disgaea a go sometime.

More classic games coming next week.

Super NES – Nintendo Switch Online
• Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
• Mario’s Super Picross

NES – Nintendo Switch Online

Welp, guess that's no new system this month then.

Re: Which Retro Game would you like to see remade?

Skies of Arcadia- or at the very least a HD Remaster, mostly to revisit for myself but also be able to recommend to friends without adding "oh btw, it's a pricey game for both systems several gens back". Sonic Adventure 1+2- I think these would benefit for a Crash Remaster treatment. As fond of the ...

Re: The New gen thread PS5/XBOXsX (feat PONG)

I remember when the N64 was coming out, Nintendo Official Magazine produced a free mini magazine/brochure about the system and its features and games. Maybe Microsoft could benefit copying that?

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Will it offer the 400+ hour worth of content that the last one did? Adventure mode was where the meat was. I worn the ink off my X button with that last one The real question is, can people 100% this before BOTW 2 comes out? They milked the hell out of the first one with DLC and ports to othe...

Re: Super Mario 35th Anniversary

Probably, but the work to port Wind Waker HD and Twilight HD is mostly done with both HD-ed up already, and I can't imagine it would take much work to HD up those 3DS ports of the N64 games since they visually got an upgrade. Not a full HD remake, but visually should be appealing enough for a possi...

Re: Super Mario 35th Anniversary

Speaking of Zelda, that celebrates its 35th anniversary next year so I could see them copy and paste all this stuff for that, something along the lines of; A Zelda Game and Watch with both NES games HD up those 3DS games (Ocarina, Majora and Link Between Worlds) Port Wind Waker HD and Twilight HD a...

Re: Super Mario 35th Anniversary

Personally, I love any excuse to replay Mario 64 whenever it's rereleased and looking forward to revisiting Galaxy. Sunshine a little less, but maybe because it took me a decade and a half to go back and get those final blue coins (Little QOL update Nintendo?). I'm sure Galaxy 2 will come at some po...

Re: Super Mario 35th Anniversary

Well, if you never beat the Lost Levels, that will sink some time. And since its the original Famicon version, you need to beat it 8 times with no warp pipe short cuts in order to access worlds A-D to 100% complete it, so that'll probably be what most your time would go towards to get value for your...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

True, but the New 3DS never had that killer exclusive game that made it worth the upgrade for. Just a port of Xenoblade, Fire Emblem Warriors (Came out the same time as the Switch version) and some shovelware download games. I don't think they will repeat that mistake since after a long 2020 with ve...
