Re: Coin-op Capers
The feature seems to be on hiatus right now, but I guess if enough people request it, it may return. It would be interesting to hear which machines people would like to see covered. For reference, the following have already featured: 01: Operation Wolf 02: Space Harrier 03: After Burner 04: Nemesis...

Re: Hot Topic - Best Street Fighter
Yeah, same here. Never really liked beat em ups, but I did enjoy this. I'll probably vote for SFII or Super SFII as they're probably the next best for me.Mayhem wrote:It has to be specifically SF2 Turbo here for me, perhaps the voting needed to be broken down more?

Re: From the forum issue 106
Last Ninja 2. The first one blew me away, but was too hard for all the wrong reasons. The second one was still challenging, but in a fairer way. It must have been good, because it was the first ever game that the ten year old me could be bothered to stick at and finish.

Re: Games Britannia: REPLAYED, 7-8th July - Magna - Sheffiel
I tweeted on the day. Fair enough, the team will be busier still, but when they're replying to and retweeting other stuff at the same time, it's a bit irritating. But again, it can be missed, so understandable. Can I ask which Twitter account you tweeted to? @gamesbritannia - this is the tweet: htt...

Re: Games Britannia: REPLAYED, 7-8th July - Magna - Sheffiel
But the ameteurish bit is not actually publishing some sort of timetable in the first place. Or was it all just winged on the day? Previous events have had timetables. They're about as reliable as my local bus service (which is why I now take the train). 'Plans for the day' might work, but timetabl...

Having reread this (and some other threads) , if you took my original 'shut up' as serious (it wasn't, regardless of who it was aimed at), I guess I better point out that the entirety of that last post wasn't either.
I'll get me coat.

It wasn't, but it is now. I told you to get the 69, and you get the A1. A1? Aren't they a defunct boyband? Useless sod.DPrinny wrote:It helps if you quote who your telling to shut up.webding wrote:Shut it.

Re: Games Britannia: REPLAYED, 7-8th July - Magna - Sheffiel
Shut it. I couldn't make it til half one at the earliest, so there was no point getting up before about 10. That's the excuse anyway. Anyway, I'm not being a moaning git (apart from all those bits where I am), it's just constructive criticism for next time. That's right, 'useless sods' counts as con...

Re: Games Britannia: REPLAYED, 7-8th July - Magna - Sheffiel
It was the failure on three counts that did me. I asked the question on here a day or so before the event. Fair enough, the team will be busy, so that's understandable. I tweeted on the day. Fair enough, the team will be busier still, but when they're replying to and retweeting other stuff at the sa...

Re: Official Feedback Issue 103
Yeah, I'm over a month behind... What I've read of it so far is really good. People moan about typos etc, but in the year or two I've been buying the mag, I think things have massively improved here; likewise the writing style of some articles/writers, which at times used to really grate with me, bu...

Re: Games Britannia: REPLAYED, 7-8th July - Magna - Sheffiel
Well, tweeting and stuff failed (even though the official account has tweeted a few times after my question), so I couldn't be bothered to go in case I'd missed the thing I was 50% going for. Useless sods.

Oh, and sorry about the triple post, but if anyone does have an answer on what time the Football Manager stuff is, I'd be grateful. If it's about half one or after, I may come down for the last few hours.
Cheers.

Actually, having just tried searching for Magna on that sure, it doesn't even bring up the place. Stick with your 69 or ask at the desk.

Re: Games Britannia: REPLAYED, 7-8th July - Magna - Sheffiel
There's definitely at least one other that goes that way too, if you've just missed a 69 (haven't we all?), then go and ask at the desk in the bus station. Or check travelsouthyorkshire.com and search timetables or journey planner for Magna. I'm still in bed, so I really can't see myself bothering. ...

Re: Games Britannia: REPLAYED, 7-8th July - Magna - Sheffiel
Plus a bus or taxi at the other end. Magna is in the middle of nowhere. Yes im looking into that. Rotherham right? Anyone know the bus number? 69, dude. Seriously. I think there's another one or two as well; your best bet will be to ask at the information desk in the interchange. And it's not in th...
