Re: Future acquire Imagine

Didn't know this purchase had happened. I hate Future as they killed PCFormat at the forum. Came to Retro Gamer as it wasn't Future. Also HATE their renewal sub letters. They are GREATLY misleading with a bit red "You owe us money" type deal. If you didn't read it carefully you'd pay up, not realisi...

Would that work for the Gamecube as well?

Gamecube and Dreamcast on a monitor

Is it possible to play the Gamecube and/or Dreamcast on a monitor? I sit at my PC desk of an eve and have a spare LCD monitor on the desk next to me. I'd like to hook the Dreamcast and/or Gamecube to it. I'd prefer playing it on that than on the TV.

Re: HMV to close 60 stores

I think they have seen sense because MVC went bust and Music Zone brought up some if not all their stores. A year later Music Zone went bust. I went into my local HMV today on the off chance they had a Gamecube or Gamecube games. They didn't but notice everything was over priced in the games section...

Re: Dreamcast

Thanks for the replies. Although the games aren't rare I thought they might be in that state, as in still factory sealed. However, I've told the seller thanks but as I was looking at an investment more than a collection so I'll skip it. Saw a rare site today. A Dreamcast game in a shop :) ChuChu Roc...

Re: eBay advice please

I'Besides you only get Negative feedback that you robbed them blind on postage Why should I get neg feedback - I wasn't "robbing" anyone. My postage rates are clear for all to see, if its too much then people shouldn't bid. Because that's how people work on e-bay these days. They'll receive the goo...

Re: Anybody collect DS games?

Only retro stuff the local Gamestation near me does it seems is over priced second hand Gamecube games and PS2 games I think. Since being brought out by Game, I was told by a collector that Gamestation got rid of a lot of their old stock, it's where he got some of his Dreamcast stuff. Gamestation ar...

Retro home arcade

I'm nothing to do with this guy I just came across him one day when I was looking up old arcades. His basement is AMAZING! Although he has none of the games in there I liked.

I use to like Robocop, Operation Wolf and the Star Wars ones.

Re: Selling large part of my retro collection

Give ya a fiver a packet of love hearts for the lot :) I'd be interested in the Dreamcast games. Wouldn't mind the Mega CD if it was right price and I guess the Mega Drive as apparently needs that to work. I haven't got a clue what any of it's worth though. I'd probably offer £1.50 per Dreamcast ga...

Re: Dreamcast

No they are all sealed. I think I'll say "Thanks but no thanks" as I have to admit it's more an investment than collecting. Think I might look at some Gamecube stuff maybe as the local Gamestation has some games, although again they are 2nd hand and now as they are owned by Game, I personally feel t...

Dreamcast

Hi New hear. Maybe this shouldn't be my first post, don't beat me if I shouldn't ask this question but being new I don't know what is askable, is that a word? I have the choice of purchasing a few sealed PAL Dreamcast games, factory sealed not reseals. With 6 VMU's of different colours and 10 brand ...
