Re: Fantasy Football 2020-2021

Well, after that horror show - 28 points??? - my Wild Card got played. Last week I made 1 change in Defence. That change has been changed again, along with another 11 players. So, of my starting line-up I am left with 3 stalwarts. Pfft.

Week 1. Triple captain on Salah scoring a hat-trick. 60 points. Respect where it's due Sputryk. We're not worthy. I figured it was worth the risk. And given the capability of the remainder of my team... 15 points between 14 players! - 4 were not in action, 4 more did not play, the rest......

Re: Buying CD's

Just ordered: Sirius B and Lemuria by Therion. Seriously good symphonic metal. Theli and Vovin are worthy listens, too. Recently received from the US, Songs From Here and Back by The Beach Boys. Available for silly money over here, whereas US sellers on eBay are flouting the disc for as little as a ...

Previously only had the edited version taped from BBC1 way back in the 80's. Finally got it on DVD. A favourite of mine, and so much better with the ...

Re: Amusement Arcades, where are they?

Where? Tokyo! Most districts have a 'cade of some description, but Takadanobaba and Akihabara are probably the best, certainly for those of us with a retro fetish. Many other cities have them - found one in a suburb of Osaka this year with plenty of extremely old cabs amongst sufficient middle-perio...

Re: Retro gaming in Tokyo

Where they old arcade games in the photos, did you ( or were you allowed ) get any photos of any new games Although there are LOADS of modern games with their new-fangled cabinets (most accepting a memory card or some such), as I don't partake of modern gaming I stuck solely to the retro. Many 'cad...
