Re: The Google Stadia
Maybe it needs time to mature. Everbody hated Steam when it was launched.

Re: Ebay is flooded with repros. Can anything be done?
But then if the packaging is just some printed card and folded plastic what's the difference?
Not defending the cloners, more the absurdity of paying a premium for packaging?

Re: Ebay is flooded with repros. Can anything be done?
Reminds me of, back around 1999ish when SNES games where in that odd period where they were obsolete but before they were collectable. You may find them in Gamestation or the odd indie shop that would only be around for a few months before closing. Then eBay comes along and you could get them easily...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
I've had some free time so I re-watched District9 and Chronicles of Riddick. Both films CGI have really aged badly - I remembered them having pretty solid effects but Riddick especially looked like a PS2 game - though still better than that Riddick film they made not so long ago (itself just a remak...

Re: What are you currently playing?
I'm still playing Farm Sim and Mudrunner but I've switched from Xbox to PC so am enjoying all the fan made mods that I didn't have access to earlier.

Re: In case anyone thought that Atari console was actually going to happen...
I'm self employed and I know loads of other people who are and there's no way anybody would keep working if they were more than a couple of weeks out of pocket. To way they haven't been paid for 6 months sounds a little over dramatic.

Re: Dave Perry
Who the f*** is Dave Perry? Lol seriously this guy hasn't been in the media for years. If his claim to fame is being a badass SF2 player and getting turned over with Mario64 on Gamesmaster 20 years ago who cares what he's doing now? I think I recall the episode. It was the slide see down the inside ...

Re: The first games you completed.
OMG! Ye Ar Kung Fu on 464! Corner yourself and your opponent would be too close to actually hit you. Total exploit, obvs, so doesn't really count. Yie are Kung Fu looped, so you couldn't finish it. The first game I finished was Sorcery on the Amstrad CPC. Great memories What was the name of that la...

Re: Ebay is flooded with repros. Can anything be done?
My problem isn't really myself getting scammed. I know how to spot a repro cart. My problem is other casual gamers/collectors who order this worthless BS and pay 20 dollars + for a fake cartridge that they will struggle to sell or swap in the future. I find this interesting. If they are playable ar...

Re: The first games you completed.
Hmm. Would definitely be something on the Atari 2600 as that was my first console. Issue there being that nearly all the games on it were endless. First game that springs to mind is Double Dragon on that. It looked NOTHING like the arcade game, and certainly didn't play like it either. Took me quit...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??
I have rejoined the elite and bought myself a pc. It's a £200 ex-fleet/business i7 gen 4 Dell. I've also got a 4gb GTX970 and uprated power supply to bung into it. It will need a more memory and storage eventually but it should comfortably out-perform an XBone and was cheap enough for me to tinker w...

Re: Biggest waste of gaming money?
Either my half arsed efforts into getting import PS2 games or the various Xbox 360s I bought then sold then bought again.
In either case I didn't spend an awful lot so no big deal.

Re: The most disappointed you've ever been in a release
What was the issue with Insect Armageddon? I liked the original 360 game but never tried the sequels.
I also really liked Tiberium Sun but didn't get on with any other C&C. I guess that would make sense of you're a fan of the series.
