Re: New retro gaming podcast: 1 More Podcastle
Downloading now. :) Is it just the first episode up on UK iTunes? Yes, for everybody -- not sure if it'll right itself in the future, but with our first two episodes there is a little delay between when we release it (in episode 2's case, <24 hours ago) and when it becomes available on iTunes. I kn...

Yes -- My bad, should have been clearer that I was just referring to the North American NES release. Thanks!Darran@Retro Gamer wrote:I love Castlevania games, particularly the 16-bit ones and Symphony Of The Night. Also wasn't the original Famicom came released in September?

Castlevania (NES) turns 25 years old today!
I did a little write-up of the event, but I am more curious about what you guys think of the Castlevania series. What are your fondest memories of the original game or titles since then? Let's celebrate a worthy silver anniversary! Note: Should have been clearer originally, but in terms of the May 1...

Re: Things you hate about games you love.
StarTropics on the NES may be my favorite game of all time. But I'll go a step further -- not only is it a game I love with an element I hate, but that particular element is something I also love and admire it further for, despite my hatred for it. Yeah, it's a love/hate thing. Item in question: The...

Re: An article about video game records..
Gee, I enjoyed the post and would love to comment, but it seems to be yet another blogspot user who, for reasons beyond my ability to comprehend, does not allow name/url comments. This is, seriously, becoming my biggest online pet peeve. So many good blogspot gaming blogs out there, and so many I pr...

Re: Cryptozoology and proof that the Abominable Snowman exis
I enjoy cryptozoology, but I dislike the hopeful optimism of its practitioners. Just because some news article appears about a hair or some new photograph is revealed hardly means the creature exists or that there is "proof."

I must say, if it involves a better chance at housing and child-raising, it's worth selling the collection -- but keep your favorite pieces.

Re: Blogs
As one of my followers said, "Are you going to get all Hollywoof on us now?!"
No, no, not quite... far too much of a dork for that, but my site NintendoLegend.comdid just get a very spiffy new redesign that should stick around for the long-term.

Re: Do you ever think 'What the hell do I play?'
I definitely run into those moments as a natural consequence of my website. Some evenings I'm literally like "screw it" and have to walk away, content to escape the choice until some weird insight hits me and points me in the right direction.
