Re: Great cooperative games for 2 players simultaneously?
Probotector/Contra. Also a lot of older sports games like Smash Tennis or ISS Pro would allow 2 players to be on the same team

Re: Pandemonium! (PSOne/PC)
I remember playing the demo that came with the Offical PS magazine quite a lot, but never got round to playing the full game. I remember they sexed up the female character for the sequel as well to try and compete with Tomb Raider.

Re: Recording PS3/360 Gameplay Footage
I did see the Maplin one, but being SD I'm assuming the quality won't be that good. I was thinking more along the lines of a PC card or standalone box, like these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YK762H-PCI-E-HDMI-Video-Capture-Card-High-quality-MPEG-2-compression-720P-1080i-/122595183407?hash=item1c8b3e0b...

Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week
XIII-2 is better, it is less linear and has more NPCs that make it feel more like an actual world, but the story is really confusing even compared to the first and to be honest I found both pretty dull. I've just finished Metro Last Light, which if I had to sum up in one word would be atmosphere. It...

Re: DOOM the new one
I did try the new MP system - played 3 games and ended up with a K/D ratio of about 0.1, so think I'll stick to the single player from now on.

It is funny watching the reaction of the Barca fans though. Their club has tapped up and unsettled countless big name players over the years, now they're outraged when it happens to them.

Shante 1.2 Genie Hero. Really enjoyed Pirate's Curse and have been meaning to pick this up for ages, so since it's on sale it would be rude not to.

Re: If You Could Choose One System
I'd be tempted by the SNES, but would have to go for the Xbox One, especially as so many 360 titles are now backwards compatible on it.

Re: Has trading died?
I've put mine on hold because I just have other priorities and sold/donated everything I didn't use before I moved last year. I still want to expand my collection of boxed SNES games, but it will just have to wait.

Recording PS3/360 Gameplay Footage
Even though I still cannot understand the popularity of streaming, messing around with the record and screenshot functions on the One is proving surprisingly addictive. So is there a straightforward way to do it for other consoles, mainly for the 360 and PS3 via HDMI? There are devices on ebay for a...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
The Mummy (2017) - very mediocre. Couldn't seem to decide if it wanted to be a horror like the original or a campy action film like the Brendan Fraser version. Tom Cruise felt totally miscast and unlikable and the whole thing was just full of plot holes ( SPOILERS why was an Egyptian buried in Iraq?...

Started Dante's Inferno on the 360. The most shameless God of War clone you'll ever see, but is still worth playing if only for the Lust stage, which is certainly "interesting" Yeah, I did Lust last night. The scene of the women coming out of the pod like things was certainly very interesting... Ne...

One of those bands that helped me get into music as a teenager. Another reminder that mental illness doesn't care about the size of your bank account.
