Re: Improving the magazine
I haven't posted here for a long long time but thought I would drop in and see what was happening. I then saw the thread about the magazine improvements. From Issue 4 onwards I religiously bought every edition of RG from a proper newsagents. I didnt want to sub as I find if you go down that route yo...

A feature on Sorcery+.
The CPC version won many awards and was much acclaimed on release. Disc only, great graphics and enhanced over the far inferior C64 and Spectrum versions.

Re: Official feedback for issue 52
Decent enough issue. Was surprised to see Fire And Forget 2 listed in the GX4000 perfect ten when it's a load of old cack (and the reviews at the time said as much). There's a fair few better games on the GX4000 including Barbarian and No Exit.
Star Wars, meh.

good points made there. appologise for going off at the deep end. Still feel that this over stepped the mark but as i the only one perhaps i a bit oversensitive on this one!! I wouldn't go so far as to apologise. You're entitled to have your say. I've not bought the magazine in awhile so I h...

Did buy it in the end. Was more of interest than the preview suggested once I flicked through it. However Zelda is about as interesting as watching paint dry and I gave up halfway through the first page. Not the mags fault, it's just a nerdy game. No amount of gold on the cover distracts from that. ...

What a cover! I laughed out loud in impressed awe when I saw it. I look forward to this issue to although I'm only halfway through 50 at the mo. Sadly looks like the first issue since issue 3 that I may well not buy. I couldn't care less for Zelda frankly and there doesn't appear to be much else th...

I am, and I'd like some PET coverage :D I learn't to program on PETs at school, and we had a few games that were really good for the time. Well, i wrote and released a PET game recently, but i can't write a review of it 'cos i'm not allowed to cover stuff i coded for some reason... =-) Amstrad Acti...

Let's face it - not every issue will please every reader. I'd say a lot of people read the magazine for nostalgia and therefore will only be "turned on" if it involves games/hardware that they've experienced in the past. But then there's a lot that read to discover new (read: old) gems that they ha...

Not the best issue for a while sadly. Nothing really grabbed me. Just abit bland overall and the two "list" features just felt like filler. Quite enjoyed the feature on the 8 bit micros but it felt rather lacking. Would have been nice to have a quick top 10 of games for some of the more obscure comp...
