Issue #1 Question

Is there a way to tell the difference between the original Issue #1, and the re-print that shipped with Issue #100? I occasionally see #1 on eBay, and want to be sure I am getting the original and not the re-print.

Thanks!

Just finished Chrono Trigger for the 1st time, as well as Earthbound. Both were freaking awesome, although I would almost have to say I liked Earthbound better. My main reason for finishing them now is the ability to play on the go (PSP). Just don't have 'tv time' like I used to. Next up is either D...

I'd have to say PSP simply for it's better results when playing emulators and retro titles. I think the DS seems to have a better catalog for 'off the shelf' titles though.

I tried using the DS for my retro fix, but it just doesn't have the results I can get with the PSP.

I just thought of another aspect to this question...reliability. Case in point - I played Pool of Radiance on my C-64 when it came out. Played it to death and got to the point where I was supposed to take out Tyranthraxus (final boss). I am a coompletist of sorts so I decided to head out for one fin...

For me, emulation is more of a convenience thing. I am an Unix admin so work many nights and weekends, and also own a coffee shop - so my time at home in front of the TV is next to none. I have a lot of emulators loaded on my PSP, and nothing is better than grabbing a few minutes of some awesome ret...

Indianapolis, Indiana - US

Wow - I got to page 9 before I found someone in the US. Pretty interesting. No wonder everyone looks at me strange when I tell them I still play my c-64

Pool of Radiance Played it for over a year, was ready to take on the final boss, decided to go out and clear a couple spots that I hadn't been to yet... So I go out and find an underground cave containing 3 waves of kobolds. I keep trying to survive this fight over many nights. Then, in an apocalyp...

My all time favorite has to be Pool Of Radiance (C64). The bummer is I was never able to finish the game. I went all the way to the final area but instead of fighting the last battle I left to be sure I had cleaned everything else out. I found a kobold cave I had not be in yet, and there was a point...
