Re: The Return Of Let's All Play
I'd be happy to see this make a return, never got round to contributing to previous Let's All Play's.
Cosmic Spacehead is one I haven't played before and does look pretty damn good, so another +1 from me for doing that one at some point.

Quality thread! (^ that Krusty pic

I'll have a punt for the Krakout CD-ROM, used to play that to death on the old Amstrad...
Bloke asks his wife 'why do you never let me know when you have an orgasm?'
She replies 'I don't want to disturb you at work'

Re: Traumatic night
Reading this makes me realise I should get some first aid training. Me too - I also said the same thing to myself recently when a friend of mine very admirably dealt with a situation. Never know what's round the corner, I definitely want get round to refreshing my first-aid knowledge sooner rather ...

I'm giving the original 'Breath of Fire' on the SNES a go - looks quite good, bit of a slow start but hoping it'll pick up once I get other characters into the party.

I'd go for Gynoug as well - one of the best shooters on the Megadrive IMO.

Re: Shadow Dancer
Another vote here for the Megadrive version of Shadow Dancer - prefer it immensely over the arcade cab.
Also agreed Blades of Vengeance was another superb title - definitely one of the better platform / hack'n'slash type affairs the MD had to offer. Cheers for reminding me to check it out again.

Re: Which arcade game are you great at?
I've always been pretty good at the Street Fighter games, but that's probably about it really.
As for Donkey Kong, I'm dead in about ten seconds usually...can rarely get above the first couple of floors of the first stage!

Re: Derek...
That Derek Acorah certainly is a f*ckwit of the highest order - loved Jimmy Carr talking about him on 'TV Heaven, Telly Hell' a few years back:  (do miss that series) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a80YQbkJ70A Must catch up with this Ricky Gervais thing - personally I've always liked his stuff ...

Re: Event: South Coast Slam 3 (Worthing, Sussex, April)
Only a short hop on the train for me so would have been daft to miss this! I came over for a while on the Saturday again, nice to bump into bensonrad there (didn't spot you though Filecore mate, hope you enjoyed!) Alas no Warlords table this time (that I could see), but some fantastic pinball tables...

Re: Been given a load of vinyl albums
First Lynyrd Skynyrd album in there I see - great stuff
One of my faves.
I see there's a Southern Rock night on BBC4 this Friday from 9pm starting with a couple of documentaries, and then Skynyrd live on the Whistle Test '75 ... that'll be my evening sorted in the armchair!
