Re: Dragon's Crown (PS3)

It's already looks smashing. Lately I have been on a kind of Vanillaware buzz and have been replaying Muramasa and Odin Sphere. One of my favourite developers.

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Quite a lot of games over the past month but here are the most note-worthy. http://s1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb465/Lavilian/Pickups/#!cpZZ1QQtppZZ28 - Popful Mail (Sega CD) - Guardian Heroes (Sega Saturn) - Dark Wizard (Sega CD) - Cannon Spike (Dreamcast) - Deep Fear (Sega Saturn) - Lemmings (NES...

Re: Mortal Kombat

It's amazingly fun so far. I would go as far as to say that it's probably the best game in the series yet. The story mode alone is ridiculously well done and the way it switches between the story and the fights in genius.

Re: Advice on Neo Geo CD

I bought a boxed top loading one last year for around $120 (actually around $160 with the shipping) on Ebay and it came with Metal Slug 2 oddly enough. All three models have no region lock so you are all set there. The second model seems to be the most common and affordable and I wouldn't pay over $...

Re: Gamecube - your favourite title and collecting

Code Veronica is the only Resident Evil game I am missing for the Gamecube. It was very rare here in the States for a number of years but it's value has been decreasing over time. I might buy a copy later on today. The second game I desire the most right now is Skies Of Arcadia Legends. I stupidly s...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Basically a few companies in Japan made their own versions of the Sega Saturn and they had different features. The V-Saturn is able to play video CD's and movies for example. One Saturn model I think also acted as a "portable" GPS with a attachable screen.

It looks a lot better than you might think. I also opened it up and found a mod chip inside but the job was poorly done so I took it out for the time being.

A few more random things. Last months Retro Gamer also finally hit the States and for a rather high price. http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb465/Lavilian/Pickups/IMG_2141.jpg http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb465/Lavilian/Pickups/IMG_2142.jpg http://i1207.photobucket.com/albums/bb465/Lavilia...

A really talented developer that didn't get the amount of respect that they should have from most people. Project Gotham Racing 1-4 and Metropolis were some of my favourite racing games from back in the day.

I'm really going to miss them.
