For Samurai's - I've always loved the Samurai Shodown series.
I really liked the look of the recent one, it's supposed to be coming to the Switch but I don't know when.

Re: Samurais & Ninjas

There must be hundreds of Ninja/Samurai games out there but some of the obvious ones are Shinobi (personal favourites are Revenge of Shinobi and Shinobi III on Megadrive, but you can't really go wrong with Shinobi in general), Last Ninja on various home computers and the Tenchu games on PS1/PS2. I ...

Samurais & Ninjas

I stumbled across a youtube video listing the best Samurai and Ninja games, though I thought it might be a good topic to get discussion going again. Off the top of my head I can't think of any games I've really played and enjoyed about ancient Japan or China, and as a fan of martial art films that's...

Re: Best DS in 2019?

As already said the original DS probably isn't worth bothering with unless you can get one dirt cheap. Of the DS models I'd personally opt for a DSi, or a DSi XL if the price/condition was right. The best reason for the Lite is the GBA slot, so a lot depends how into GBA games you are. The mushy d-p...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Joker, very good. Not really a satisfying sort of film, but a thoughtful and entertaining one none the less. Joaquin Phoenix probably just won himself an Oscar.

Re: Just been given a 2DS XL

Highly rated RPG Radiant Historia is only £11 on the eshop at the moment, which is way cheaper than a physical copy these days.

Found myself eyeing up the black and green model, can't decide if I like it or not, the lime green seems a bit 'much' but Mario Kart pre installed is a nice bonus.

Re: What are you currently playing?

New Super Mario Bros 2 on the 3DS. It's good , if unremarkable. I see the NSMB games a bit like level expansions anyway so that's fine.

I'm bussing it to work at the moment so I'm showing the other commuters how it's done, playing some proper games on a dedicated handheld, instead of mobile crap.

Re: What are you currently playing?

Played a little of the Goldeneye 007 remake single player, it actually still looks very respectable using a component cable with the Wii.

Re: Just been given a 2DS XL

Yeah, if there has never been one created there's obviously nothing to delete, and the eShop account is tied to the hardware. If it has one though, don't touch it. I still think he may be ok to delete it if MK7 came with the system when new, though obviously he'd do so at his own risk. Best to sear...
