Re: Sega Nomad Up For Grabs

If its accidental loss or damage to your property then you can definitely claim on a home insurance policy. You might not get the boiler replaced dependent on the specifics of the policy but the damage from the showers and stuff is definitely claimable (possibly not a real word :) ). A lot of insur...

Re: Playstation as a retro platform

Personally in my mind I'd class the PS2 as a retro platform too. But I won't make that suggestion here. Just seems like Donkeys years ago that I read over every detail of the machine coming out for yonks...and it totally blew me away with the jump from PS1. Having said that though...such simple game...

I wish Lara had nipples on the cover...Cold and wet from coming in from the cold....

Now....why did I prefer the Rainbow Islands cover? That's really a worry...

Re: Are the newer plasma TVs safe for extended play?

See I have worries about this...Ok so certain models move the pixels a bit. What happens with a big logo in the corner or old games with big blocks of colour for displaying the score etc. A lot of those pixels won't get rotated. I have a lovely Pioneer Plasma. But it still gets temporary burn from a...

Re: Crystal Maze

See I loved the Crystal Maze and especially Richard O'Brien. But I do feel it was copying a game that came lightyears from before... The Adventure Game....With it's own crazy presenter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bt3GrUEz9_c&feature=related Even came with it's own crystal and Moira Stewart in a p...

Re: Sega Nomad Up For Grabs

£2200 for a boiler? Thats one expensive boiler mate, mine died about 8 months ago and it cost me £1300 to get a brand new worcester bosch installed within 2 days, (which i think was still extortionate, but needed doing). I feel for you dude, i know had bad it can be when they go wrong, no heating, ...

Re: Sega Nomad Up For Grabs

The nomad is a great device but on the upside you don't really need it if you have a mega drive. Still though it is a shame to have to get rid of it. Ah but I would rather have it than the megadrive. It's total class...but sadly worth much more than my megadrive. Suppose if I sold my megadrive my m...

Re: Playstation as a retro platform

It is difficult to judge. Compared to antiques (which have the standard of being roughly 100 years or older - that's what orange skin man said on braindead bargain hunt anyhoo)...gaming machines have a smaller time bracket that they have existed in. I have very fond memories of the Ps1 and in many w...
