Re: Video Games Within Video Games.

The Gamecube version of Fight Night Round 2 has a version of Super Punch Out to play.
There was a Test Drive game on the original Xbox where you could play Pong whilst the races load.
Final Fight StreetWise has the original Final Fight to be unlocked.

Re: Holiday games..

I for one try to game as much as possible on holiday, because I don't like traveling and if I can use my PSP or 3dS to distract me from that, then i'll play them as long as those batteries last.

Re: WWF No Mercy N64 bug

That Bug killed my summer of 2000/2001, I heard about it before i picked up my copy on release day and was terrified when playing it and soon enough it got wiped, It took about 3 months before the fixed carts hit Australia. I remember even when i picked up the revision in March I was still cautious,...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Just bought myself a cool little device that lets me play NES games on my SNES. It was really my only option for playing NES games, as NES's are really expensive here in Australia. I'm trying to track down a device that will let me play Famicom games on my Super Famicom, but Ive had no luck because...

Re: It's Actually Not That Bad...

I Agree with a lot of posts in this thread. As for my pick, I could list hundreds of games but I will go with Final Fight Streetwise, just finally tracked it down again after trading it years ago. I'm pretty much stuck at the moment with one boss, but I couldn't put it down when i bought it last wee...

Re: Godzilla games

Continuing with the theme of unlicensed games being awesome, War of The Monsters is a great game and is better than any Godzilla game out there. It's like a 3D version of King of the monsters with extra gameplay twists thrown in. Haven't managed to track down a copy for a decent price over the years.

Wipeout:Fusion PS2-Just felt cold, sterile, lacking the spark of previous instalments.Thankfully PSP games rebooted franchise. It's funny you say that because one of the reasons I never got into the Wipeout series was because I felt that the games felt cold and sterile and lack of spark, visually. ...

Re: Extreme Sports Games

On the subject of SSX' popularity i know of several people who are not fans of the extreme sports genre (games like Tony Hawk, Dave Mirra, Skate) and even other snowboarding games (Amped, Transworld Snowboarding, Shaun Palmer), but love the SSX series. It's just one of those games that defy genre's ...

Re: Games your parents played more than you?

My dad and his spouse were always fans of the Crash Bandicoot series, but there was one summer where they must of played Crash 2 every day for hours trying to 100% it, i didn't get much time with the PS1 over those months because of that game. Also when Crash Team Racing came out that was a monster ...

Re: One Song That Defines SEGA

I just bought the 3DS version of Streets of Rage and that first level song just flooded back nostalgia of the Mega Drive more than anything from Sonic has done in years. Don't know the name of it though.

I always linked Uncharted as the modern version of Pitfall, and I would of thought by now they would of released a Pitfall style side scroller Uncharted game for PSN or if they were supporting the PSP heavily during the 2007-2009 period.
