Robocop VS Terminator (Megadrive/Genesis) was the best one i played. Loved the gameplay & level design.

Re: Favourite Bonus Stage?

Has to be the special stage in Sonic 2. A half pipe stage that was quite something back in the days of the Mega Drive (Certainly amazed 6 year old me. ) and they even try to replicate it in other Sonic games its that good. Yeah they were great bonus stages back in the day but the ones on Soni...

Re: Gaming "I have nevers"

I have never liked or highly rated: Super Mario World That surprises me, Even though I was very much a SEGA fan in the 90's and loved the Sonic Games, I also found Super Mario World FASCINATING when I played it round my cousins house on his SNES. I just found the level design dull and the controls ...

3 games immediately spring to mind when it comes to amazing multiplayer experiences:

Saturn Bomberman (Sega Saturn)
Powerstone 2 (Dreamcast)
Daytona USA (Arcade)

Honorable mentions must go to Goldeneye, Pro Evo & the Mario Kart Games.

Re: Messi or Ronaldo?

There's not much in it between the 2 but over the entirety of their careers i think Messi. And in my eyes He s prettier (personality) and more understated too. As Nakamura mentioned though if you were to build a perfect footballer on paper purely from a technical & mechanical perspective then Ronald...

Re: Using Headphones for game audio?

When i really play through a big game i always use earphones. I have the Sennheiser ie80 which cost me a small fortune and a game is transformed when i use them as the speakers from my TV are censored and i don't have room for a surround setup. It really does immerse you in the game on a much deeper...

Re: Games that don't get the attention they deserve

Totally forgot about Overboard! On ps1. It was a brilliant little gem of a game that. Also Rapid Racer was another that had alot going for it but the handling of the crafts were at times a challenge.

4 Wheel Thunder & Hydro Thunder were great on the DC.

The Gregory Horror Show is a rare gem on PS2.

Re: Games that don't get the attention they deserve

Burning Force (Megadrive/Genesis). Although the arcade ver is better it's brilliant on the megadrive and some of the tunes are fantastic.

Alisia Dragoon (Megadrive) The graphics and style are lovely, it plays well and has great music.

Re: So what is your best FPS then?

Exhumed is the best FPS iv played. The amazing atmosphere, level design are even to this day above any other fps iv played. Bioshock, Metroid Prime & Duke Nukem 3d would be my 2nd, 3rd & 4th favorites. I also loved Rise Of The Triad when i played through it back in the mid 90's. Goldeneye is the mos...

Re: From the forum issue 134 - Favourite Saturn game?

For me it's Nights Into Dreams. There wasn't a game like it before and there hasn't been since with the exception of the inferior sequel on Wii. It's i.m.o how videogames should be and was worth buying a Saturn for. Imaginitive, hugely playable with lots of replay value and brilliant music and sound...

Re: Scariest gaming moments of all time

It would have to be a toss up between Project Zero particularly where you hear that voice coming from the closet which turns out to be a voice recorder and the Resident Evil Remake where you are in that hut in the forest and you hear the door open and an old lady groaning with the sound of chains ra...

Re: Chrono Cross worth playing?

Ironically i much preferred Cross to it's prequel. It was actually Chrono Trigger i could never take to or get into and found boring but in fairness i was alot younger and didn't appreciate RPG'S as much. Overall i found Chrono Cross to be a brilliant game with some of the best graphics on the PS1 a...
