Seriously, don't start with VII, many regard it as the best one, but its too dark and confusing for a first FF game, I'd suggest IX, its dark towards the end but it brings you in slowly, its Attributes system is easier to learn (its the easiest one overall) and its characters and world are fun, plus...

It used to be pretty good, and semi believable, now it is just a joke and everythingsblown out of proportion, plus the camera never seems to leave Evette's nostrils.

GamesTM adopt a anonymous policy in their mag too, although their staff occasionally post on the forums, as I believe Darran occasionally does here. EDGE are very up their own backsides though, which is what put me off them. My favourite mag of all time was Paul Davies era C&VG, fantastic mag. Games...

Sky One's already cluttered enough....

I've never really gotten into much TV of late, other than Top Gear the only other things I enjoy are Torchwood and Most Haunted, but I do really like this so far.

Re:

You have to wonder what Sega were thinking when they released the Saturn - was it just a case of getting the machine out before the PS1 was released The DC wasn't released that long after the Saturn - had Sega advanced so far technologically in such a short period of time? Or was the DC the machine...

I love both machines, probably equally. Although I have to point out, MicroMachines 2 Turbo Tournament on the Mega Drive is vastly superior to the Super NES version of the same game. The sound effects are horrible on the Super NES version as are the graphics, and come to think of it, the handling fe...

Sonic Tam did do Burning Rangers.

Fantastic game, my fiance bought it home a couple of days before Fathers Day last year, I had to persuade her to let me have it early as I was eager to play it.

She got it for £25 in Gamestation, which i didn't think was too bad.

My gaming during that era, to begin with, was mainly controlled by my brothers tastes, he bought a Saturn initially and we'd play SEGA Rally Championship all the time, to the point I can still remember my gear shifts on the Desert course! He eventually replaced it with a PlayStation though, for reas...
