Re: Polish lagers
There was a time where I work where the very mention of the word Skol resulted in threats of violence from the deputy manager.
apologies
Sorry about the abusive post about the way I'be been treated by the tax office on Monday. I know for a fact that there are a lot of unemployed people who'd be glad of a job and so called 'scroungers' (nobody in particular) who'd be glad to get off benefits if they were given the chance (but STAY THE...

Re: The Most Unfriendly Forums
Can't say I've ever been signed up to unfriendly forums, I usually lurk for months before joining. In my time I've been banned from 2 forums: Gamespot for 1 day due to Klown activities. A specialised Fiat Forum for life :D I was admin for over a year and got into a disagreement with the owner as he...

Re: The Most Unfriendly Forums
Not really a forum as such but I can't stand the comments section on YouTube. I also found the official Offspring forum to be quite unfriendly when I was actively posting a few years back. The regulars with 1000+ posts were mostly up themselves and made anyone new feel extremely unwelcome. Youtube ...

Re: The Most Unfriendly Forums
Any forum which has members who regularly use the words 'Gay-Ass', 'Fagit/Fagot/fagat...' or other such wonderfully colourful words are, on the whole, avoided by me now. Getting abuse from a 16 year old American kid because I 'censored the queen and am a gay ass fagit' (i didnt have the heart to po...

Re: The Most Unfriendly Forums
Ain't it great how we all love each other so much around here? Just makes me appreciate it more when I see stuff like the IMDB's video gaming boards. Have a look at this thread for example. How childish can you get? If there's a more unfriendly forum out there, I'd like to see it. Agree. I've just ...

Re: The Most Unfriendly Forums
NEVER set up an account (this isn't a rant) with Gamespot or join their forum. They have this stupid, tiny little rule about thread bumping in which you can't reply to an old thread so as a result I was unfairly banned!!

Re: Would you eat ANY of this??
Being in hospital a few times because of athma I'm a bit used to hospital food. Some of it looks disgusting like the chicken and mushroom pie (DO NOT ASK) and the brown curry (YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE EITHER!) but some of it is actually what it says on the menu. Anybody noticed tha...

Know how you feel. I was told by Brother that they'd send me a free ink cartridge for my word processor (does anybody still use these?) after gettting a few out of a dodgy batch from Office World but it never arrived.SpiffierRabbit wrote:Never recieved my glass!![]()

Re: Free Becks Glasses
WHERE???
BTW one of my fave pubs wasn't doing Kronenbourg anymore so i told them (jokingly) that I'd be happy to take them off their hands (I've already got another free one and some free Carling glasses) and it wouldn't cost them a single penny so one of the staff gave me one. Good or what??
